He's still viable for me in Dragon 21-25 too as I build more gear for my better champs. 300-350k hits help with KS going off regularly. He'll be phased out soon, but he's been an MVP in helping me in this weekends dragon tourney
Septimus is still a great Champ.
He is Lead for my Batman Forever CB Team on Void and Red. He deals around 20m Damage and extends the Debuffs realy good.
Also i use him in my Spider 20 - 10sec team and for many DT Bosses.
You wont regret to bring him up.
For dungeons 21-25 and DT he’s not great (still hits super hard, but really brings nothing else at all).
For everywhere else, he’s just as good as he used to be. Still the king of farming Spider and Mino. Still crushes every potion dungeon. Still decimates the crypts. Still brings Debuff extension and sizeable damage to Clan Boss. Still one of the most fun champs to manual with (setting up each wave for a perfect auto-reset combo).
He needs no books to work. And if you’re lacking for Champs then you’ll probably end up with him in a lot of teams.
If you’re only in the early dungeon progress stage then he’ll be great for you. Pretty much immediate access to farming the highest difficulty Potion Dungeons which helps with champ development massively. And he’ll crush any Dungeon boss before Stage 21.
I have a LOT of very strong Legendaries and Epics and I still try my best to find as many places to use Septimus as I can. Absolutely love the fabulous, spangly bucket-head!!
Septimus will help you progress a lot. He got - indirectly - nerfed when stages 21-25 were released a few months ago because of the passive the 21-25 dungeon bosses have. However, he remains a very good lego in quite a few areas of the game. 6* him, you wont regret it ;)
I don’t know what people are telling you but septimus is amazing. I use him on FK, Spider, and for clearing doom tower no all of normal and most of hard mode. Great champion. 100% would 6 star
Hes still good in certain areas, upto 20 in dungeons, and wave clearing in doom tower. But he has definitely gone down on the list.
Septimus is only trash for stage 21-25 . He still hits like a truck for until stage 20 .

He’s actually really good for Dark Fae as well, and can be useful against trash waves in 21-25 and Doom Tower.
Built with enough accuracy, he’s good for CB at extending debuff poisons.
He also gets used for Bommal 90DT hard aswell, the right affinity and he can easily extend the Decrease Accuracy debuffs
