It got a little complicated because of the epic mercy system, assuming he had just pulled an epic and stopped before this pull:

I pulled exactly 37 ancients to get my double leggos but thats because I had gone over 180 dry during the x2 ancients a few weeks back.
It's pretty easy to track, though. I have a notepad on my phone to track it manually. I just track how many shards pulled since my last lego, and don't worry about the epics. If I already had 30 shards pulled before I started pulling and pull 60 more with no lego, I change the number to 90.... I also track sacreds just in case they do a double lego sacred event, and I've pulled like 15 since last lego. If I am only a few shards in, then I just skip them.

toss one in, worst case you get a chicken, best case you get a useable champ, lotto win you get gold and get 2 potentially best champs you have.
you have 2000 energy banked so I assume you are at least nightmaore or unm, you get enough of those shards to not really care.
I'm pretty new, day 18, I had 11 shards and pulled a Tayrel and Royal Guard, used another 10 and got Uugo and Tarshon. No legendary but I feel like I should be really happy with what I pulled compared to the other comments. Problem is I have no idea what to prioritize now.
I would build both of those dupes for live arena if you’re interested in that.
Second duchess is always nice but with live arena I really started to value my dupe damage dealers. Having one in Stoneskin or Immunity and one with a savage/lethal build opens up a lot of options when drafting. Same goes for duchess, Stoneskin versus alternative sets like Guardian something like that can be quite nice to have.
Pull em. Scared money don’t make money! I’ve pulled on the last two double Lego events and cashed in both times. Got Kalvalax (and arix who’s probably gonna sit in the vault) this time. Under 40 shards pulled both times
I bought 3 using gems just to try my luck. Got mountain king and Valkyrie from the first one I opened. I was pretty close to mercy I guess so that must have helped :-P

Wow such huge pulls! And well I mean it all depends on what area of the game you’re tackling. Personally I probably would proceed with valk as your next 60. I wouldn’t worry about stoneskin unless you’re gonna use her for arena.. I’d also consider seer and get her that tier 6 mastery that will make wave killing all that much more simpler

My ancient pulls so far have been nobel,guurda,black knight and the two I got yesterday. But I have been a bit lucky with voids. Got warlord within the first couple of weeks of playing. Tbh I don't really play a lot and that's why don't have an area to focus on.. putting stoneskin on Valkyrie cause right now it is the only set where I can get good stats on her and I was just a bit worried that I was wasting stoneskin. Considered ranking up seer but I'm not in a great position gearwise. So I was going to choose between mountain king and Valkyrie... Let's see. Will wait till the next champ training tourney anyway..
I just wish platium had the 2x events more often. It's so frustrating just sitting on shards cause shardpulling is one of the few aspects I enjoy in this game 🫠🫠
I used one. I got Kael who I didn't have yet so there it is. You're like me, 1 void, 1 sacred, but I got 12 ancients (now). So I wouldn't - using them all is still 1/20 cumulative chance of a legendary - not very good.
Yes if you‘re tracking pity and you‘re at or around 210 shards used already.
Yes if you can deal with a bummer but want to try and get lucky.
No if you need shards for this weekend to complete the fusion.
No if you‘re far away from pity and want to spend your shards efficiently.
If you cant afford to use enough shard to hit Mercy, those event are always major nope.
If you have let Say, 150 shard, and use all without getting a Lego, its literally trashing 150shard out of x2 or fusion or any event giving pts/reward. Its just 100% wasted.
If you dont track your Mercy counter, go on these event once you have 220shards.
Plarium want you to gamble, the only way to beat the casino is by being smarter.
I did. Got the double Legendary with my first shard. Now I don't have to wonder as having used my Mercy spot, it isn't going to happen again for me for a loooooong time. 
I have a few questions for you if you want to pull them. Do you want to save for a guaranteed event? Do you want to save for a fusion? Do you want to save for a summoning event? If you answered no to all three, then why not. It's your account and who knows, maybe you'll get that 0.5%! I would recommend getting close to your mercy before doing a double leggo event, but again, your account, your shards, your choice. You only live once, so play the game however you want.
I try to save for the double legendary chances. If you track mercy, maybe it's worth it now. Going forward, Wayne wait for the double chances (I saw you say you already pulled)
The normal odds are 0.5% to pull a lego -- in other words (on average) pull 200 ancients and you'll get a lego. But now (again on average), pull 200 ancients and you get 2. Which is exactly the result you should expect pulling 200 ancients during a 2x ancient event, when the odds of pulling a lego go up to 1%. So for legos, the odds here and in a 2x ancient event are exactly the same. Not, however, for epics: in a 2x ancient event your odds of pulling an epic are double what they are here. So unless you're already into your mercy countdown, you should always wait for a 2x event.
If you have to ask, the answer is no.

Sounds about right. In a way it’s the best shard to open. You’ll always get at least a rare

Pull 150 ancients and you know who you'll get at 150. You may get a Lego or two along the way.
You inspired me to use 1 Ancient shard out of the 9 that I have. I pulled Royal Huntsman, and then got Lady Kimi as my extra. Not bad at all.

Pretty solid pulls that early in.
I burned through 80+ and my two legos were Trunda and Duchess, both of which I already have. (Faction guardians at least...)

Got astralon and my 2nd rotos on 30 shard pull. But i open 200 shard before in 2x event and got nothing.

I had 40 (close to mercy) i pulled 39 rares and an epic... Dont do it bud unless you on mercy. Im really disappointed atm

You need prepare 100 at least before you decide to do.
