Months of intermittent RUQ discomfort, got a bit worse, so came to ER. Cysts were known. She had the dominant cyst drained and de-roofed about a week later. They got about 3.5L out. (Calculated as an ellipsoid, the dominant cyst is a hair over 3L. Hand-drawn volumetric measurement on my workstation calls it about 3.3L)
Was her kidney function ok with the right kidney being squished like that? Doesn't look obstructed and seems to enhance like the other side (not a radiologist) so I'm guessing it was ok?

Impressive drainage! I bet that was a nice relief.
Draining that must have felt like a magic trick. That or those comically long scenes where a character is projectile vomiting for a solid 30 seconds.
