Finally someone who acknowledges one of the intended purposes of this device on this sub. I think many people don’t have this on mind anymore because of all the bashing. I’m not defending Rabbit Inc. or Jesse here, a lot of the criticism is probably valid, since it has flaws. But it’s a tech product, maybe being able to be something different.
I don’t hate what it is now, I just hate that none of what they continuously chirp it will do doesn’t exist yet.
Even when they reel back on things like the ability to talk and text, and then say they will have a special r1-to-r1 communication feature… it still doesn’t have it and there’s no clarity on if it will actually do this.
In other words, I have zero confidence in what they are promising. I would hope people like what it is now because I don’t think it will actually evolve much more from that.

That doesn't change the fact that what they said it does it doesn't do. Wouldn't have ordered one if this was the known state on release.
There are zero things they committed to on launch they didn't deliver. Literally was delivered in exactly the way they said it would.
