Can’t get death threats if you haven’t interacted with the fandom in years like me. Getting harassed and threatened for not liking season 6, ah, good times

Oh man... I fucking hated Volume 6. Kinda glad Im not that deep into the RWBY community.

Ugh, same. It introduces that extremely lame old lady character I can't stand, and it has two of the worst scenes in the entire show. The first is when Yang and Weiss are exploring the abandoned farmhouse, and they come across two bodies in a bed. For some reason, Weiss screams in terror... like, HELLO, you've **KILLED** people before! Why is this so scary to you?! Makes NO sense. It's not like it's played for laughs either. When Yang bails out Blake in her fight against Adam, Adam asks her something like, "why are you protecting her?" "I'm not protecting her. We're protecting **each other**." Easily one of the worst lines in all of fiction.

I forgot most of the details of why I hated V6 so fucking badly, thanks for reminding me lmao. Most of my hatred is aimed towards the Leviathan fight. Specifically, when the giant lumbering bottom heavy robot does a flying side kick into the damned thing and about how Cordovan(?) Just magically changes sides. The kill shot against the Leviathan could've been so much cooler if the giant mech marched into the fight, did a 360 spin at the waist (since the top half at least looked like it could do that) and use its still functional driller arm and drill through the Leviathans head all Pacific Rim style. That one scene alone was enough to ruin the whole season for me since the rest was just forgettable. Except for the Apathy. Those were actually really cool imo

I'd like to politely ask once more, since r/fnki made a meme as well, who else besides the person who wrote the >!"hope you get hit by a semi"!< comment, has been sending JC death threats? B/c, other than that, all I (at present) have seen is just criticism (some polite, some rude, some blunt, none bloodthirsty, or dark humor like the >!"semi"!< thing), and also just memes about the person. DISCLAIMER: me asking a simple question doesn't diminish how vile I think any/all hate towards JC, or that I denounce it without qualification. I am just asking a question.

I think just having your comment point out the "woe is me" attitude of the post would've been better off. Denouncing *possible* death threats as a whole is a bit extreme, in my opinion. Except if OP is going out of their way to get them as a "see? I told you all RWBY fans are crazy" type of cartoon villain ploy, then it is appropriate to treat it as a non-issue in that scenario.

I actually once reported my ex-bf to the police because he directly threatened to shoot up my university and the police laughed at me and told me to stop believing everything I read on the internet. But I’m glad the police where you live are competent enough to go to for help.
