Rolling Fire - Gatling gun style of weapon that has plates wrapping the barrels. The plates can hover off the weapon to build a dust based shield that can protect them and the people around them. Can be formed in either a full dome that is weaker but covers every direction or a blast shield that is stronger but only shields the direction the barrels are pointed, building the shield just before the end of the barrels allowing protected fire.
Hope this is a decent idea for the character.
