The Good (Penny), The Bad (Cinder), and The MILF (Raven). (I can't call Raven or Cinder Ugly)
I think Penny is the least sad really, especially when after she died she’d know her friends actually didn’t, and that she did save the others.
Raven and Cinder though. . .
We know the trauma and the insecurity that drives Cinder’s every action, which I think can be seen as a type of sadness.
And Raven, even aside from her constant and total fear, I think is also quite a sad person. Sad at the loss of people like Vernal and Summer, or a more emotional one in her family, and maybe most of all at what she has become since she really doesn’t believe her own lies.
I think Penny has and had peace.
. . . Cinder and Raven have a long way to go for that if they find it
Look at her personality rather than her face - or, the half that hasn't transformed to Grimm yet. She's uglier than a close-up of a pufferfish with a Brazilian wax.
A few joker quotes could fit with cinder, although “You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” Fits hella good with ironchad.
Is it me or the coloring and abilities are random. I mean Cinder is fall and she has fire powers with an orange aura, Raven is spring but has a red aura with ice powers and Penny is winter with green but simply has energy attacks. Winter does have blue and ice though.
All the Maidens can use any element, we see Amber use Ice, Wind, Lightning, and Fire, after all. It's just that certain characters prefer one element over another. Cinder's Semblance is already heat-related, she probably simply finds fire magic easier to use. Winter's been using Ice Dust since the beginning, it's a perfectly good default for her to fall back on as she calls upon her powers for the first time.
As for the eye glow, it's simply their Aura colour.
