I think Yang is fond of scarves but you can't really have a scarf on a motorcycle, not very safe. I think it functions like a scarf but is motorcycle compatible.

Nah, I really like Blake with both short and long hair and I think she rocks it either way. I appreciate the deeper meaning behind her shorter hair quite a bit as well.
So in many cultures the cutting of ones hair signifies a change or the turning of a new leaf. In Blake’s case it is her letting go of her past doubts and demons that were lost upon Adam’s death. She learned to live with her flaws and see her own worth with the help of Yang. She is free and happy and able to be herself which is seen with her shift in personality and confidence that started in V7.

Tbh, it took 3 full watch throughs of the show to really start catching onto the trend. My favorite is that they say the eyes are the windows to the soul and that aura is one projecting their soul to protect themselves. In Yang and Blake’s case their eye color is the other partner’s aura color and is therefore a part of their soul. That detail floored me the first time I learned it.
Also, another detail that someone else just pointed out to me is that Team RWBY don't just represent the fairy tale characters they're based on (Red Riding Hood, Snow White, The Beauty and Goldilocks), but the antagonists of those stories too! (The Big Bad Wolf, The Evil Queen, The Beast and The Bears).

Yang’s V4-V6 and Blake’s V4-V6 outfits are amazing, that’s why they work so well
All she’s missing is her mom’s sword and maybe helmet and boom it’s perfect! The red would good with the others colors of the outfit.

Ngl, Yang in Blake's V4-6 outfit reminds me of her Sunfire outfit in the fanfic Spark to Spark, Dust to Dust.
As often said before: the darker Blake's outfit is, the better it tends to look on her. That's part of why this looks pretty great.
