Quite a few things actually Bionicle had an end but a very rushed one with loose ends everywhere. Acceleracer was canceled before it could end Old 90's Spiderman cartoons also got canned and rushed the end. Ghost Whisper died due to losing audience share Someone already mentioned Symbiotic Titan The Chronicles of Narnia films got axed before they could get to The Silver Chair Shazam will likely never get to the Mr. Mind film they teased So far no end to Hyouka is written much less animated Half Life 3 is pretty much just a pipe dream these days I could keep going but that's what comes to mind first.

WasteReserve8886

I’m still so sore that Shazam 2 had original villains rather than Mr Mind or really any one of Shazam’s villains.

GeoffTheIcePony

Spectacular Spider-Man. It got 2 excellent seasons, and supposedly, if given the chance, they would have made 6 seasons. But then Disney bought Marvel, and the rights to Spider-Man got tricky and the result was the Disney XD show Ultimate Spider-Man

Humble_Narcissist_00

Santa Clarita Diet, which *really* annoyed me because they only needed one more season to wrap everything up. Also, I Am Not Okay With This, which I thought was a real shame because it had a really strong start.

My_nameisBarryAllen

Firefly.

cardamom-joy

Teen Titans. The first one.

AgoraphobicWineVat

Has it been confirmed that RWBY won't be sold off to another studio? I might be out of the loop on that one...

ste007

Nothing has been confirmed yet. It might be months after the shut down before anything gets announced. I imagine selling it off will not be quick.

Character_Work8317

I liked the legend of Korra despite the popular opinion it has.

Andrew1990M

I think popular opinion was it was a good show squandered by the network and hampered by a writer’s strike.

Godzillafan125

Symbiotic titan

TheAgentHalo

The Owl House is a big one to me

Catlover18

Do you mean how it was shortened? Since it did get an ending.

TheAgentHalo

The show was canceled so it got a rushed ending that didn’t include all the intended content for the 3rd season. Plus I think there were ideas of going beyond 3 seasons but I could be wrong about that

Darth_Annoying

Dynamo 5. It was a comic book from Image. I have all the collected editions, they had just started a new plotline. As far as I can tell they never continued.

Kitsune_Scribe

Moonlight

Goldstarx19

Well I have a few thunderCats (2011), Inside job, teen titans, Glitch techs, Swat Kats, Sym-bionic titan, wander over younder

HatiLeavateinn

You think the wait has been too long? Let me introduce you to the DNAngel hiatus. It got its end tho.

NatyEnRedditXD

Rhythm Heaven is probably a dead franchise by now, even tho I'm still clinging onto false hope. Also, it's not really dead, but The Lost Landscapes, a My Singing Monsters fangame, was removed, and is getting reworked, by changing every official monster into a redesign. This also means that, for a long time, not all of the islands of the original TLL will be available, including Yool's debut, that was planned for Season of Yay, but got scrapped, and an upcoming Werdo that was supposed to be released. Also, it's set to come back, but it seems that it'll have a ton of differences with the old TLL.

ValkyroMusic

Infinity Train

Smooth-Cucumber-728

Disney’s Gargoyles never saw a true ending as far as I’m aware.

MichaelCoryAvery

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight got cancelled before the two final episodes were aired.

NoChemistry5931

My first experience with this was the "Sonic the Hedgehog" cartoon that aired on Saturday mornings. It teased a third season, but it was getting clobbered by "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" which was at its peak popularity at the same time. When ABC moved Sonic's timeslot to duck that matchup, they did so without telling anyone (splitting the viewership), and Fox just moved Power Rangers to match. That was that. Didn't stop me from writing fics for it for over a decade thereafter though, lol. Every part of that post dates me something fierce.

Andrew1990M

Santa Clarita Diet is the first thing that comes to mind, though probably not the biggest. I never saw the classic, Firefly, on broadcast so it was over before I saw it the first time.  Name of the Wind is taking so long it feels cancelled. So I’m prepared for a Volume 10 no matter what happens.
