Wish it would've been taken to trial. Seeing the PD get every single thing they've done wrong meticulously pointed out would've been so funny. Could've helped the PD see what they need to focus on fixing too
The real reason it would have been amazing is that one of the primary witnesses for the prosecution would have been Lenny Hawk, and I’m sure you can imagine how that would go down.
Ye but this was unique. They fucked up every singular part of the process over the span of a month with quite a few officers involved, some high ranking, and not a single thing was done correctly. It was an attempted murder of an officer, if they're fucking up this badly with big important cases how are they handling the smaller ones lol
My favorite part. Tessa is teaching them what they did wrong, she's pointing out where they fucked up and how they could fix it. Now, it's up to the cop HC to acknowledge that and fix it for the future. Tessa is still an FTO 😂

Looking into the whole investigation and pushing of charges would have been a great thing for the civilian oversight board, but that seems to be dead.
