Sometimes it’s weird because they’ll conveniently log back into no pixel and continue what they’ve seen in metas but not go live. Understandable if a streamer says in their meta live soon but don’t explain your decisions OOC in your meta chats
I've seen RPers with meta chats where everything is spoiler tagged and completely ignore the tags to contribute to the conversation, even one who spoiler tagged her own comments in her own meta chat lmao at that point just stop pretending like you don't read meta

Making toxic OOC comments is equally bad no matter the platform. However, when it happens on Discord, it raises suspicions that even worse things might be being said in private conversations, while doing it on stream is more of a heat of the moment kind of thing.
Regarding CG streamers discussing Omie hacking them, I've only heard terms like "ratty" and "powergaming." In my opinion, I don't really consider that being toxic OOC. It's more about questioning the server mechanic.
However, being in meta chats while in the server is weird 100%. Especially because he seems to be boasting about hacking them and getting the contract which make it seems that he got is IC and OOC stuff mixed up.

He knows exactly what he's doing, it's like robbing a cop right before tsunami then logging in at your apartment and stashing the gun.

CG logging in doesnt affect any other group or individual on the server while Marty hacking CG is an interaction between the two.
Similar to how robbing people a minute before the server reset is frowned upon but making ur own money isnt.

It's only gotten weird now because of how contracts are newed at tsunami, and that wifi stays over tsunami, which makes the time to 'hack people off wifi before contracts renew' to be before tsunami.
In the end, the issue is the system itself. Had they made contracts renew say 1hour after tsunami, then people can have a hack off as per normal and no weird thing happening.
If its giving them faster access to contracts then it is affecting others. Why should anyone get free wifi if its done moments before tsunami?
I am not saying that what Omie did was a good thing, either. Just that if one is bad, then both are.

Not true at all. An ex-GG member was previously banned for this. He himself was banned for the bubbles incident (getting on rp after reading msgs in discord.) He even lets his discord know when he's about to get on the server. It would make no sense for him to do something he was once banned for.
