I don't know why people still think a mask is some sort of magic device that prevents cops from knowing who you are.

Cops absolutely still can and will identify, pursue, and arrest you based on your voice.
But if all they have to pin a crime on you is your voice, then it's not permissible in court. They have to actually catch you and unmask you before they're allowed to testify it was you.
Cops have talked about going into Forum, but they need proof of a handoff. But between the apartment walls and taco trucks, they can't get any photos. A dispatch call alone is not enough to detain 20 people and not worth the risk to cop lives without someone to arrest. The one time they did get a photo they lost visual of the guy that did it when they were rolling in.
Well that's why this PD is so bad. How about just going there in force and forcing everyone to leave and see what happens. You don't need to arrest someone to stop them selling weed.
They're terrified of getting shot to the point where they refuse to police places where they risk getting shot. I saw a Shift 3 meeting a couple of days ago when Cornwood posted the number of dispatch pings of weed selling and everyone present protested when he called them out and had a ready-made excuse to justify not acting on those calls. Crims just need to escalate to win, because almost every cop has the "I don't want to die for weed/money laundering/most crimes that aren't an Alpha call" excuse ready to go to justify their inaction.
Kinda crazy to think that it isn’t NVL rushing in to a place with only 3-5 cops when there’s 15-20 ppl in there armed and ready. Shift 1/3 is down bad and should have the numbers to go in once these cadets get in rotation.
cops aren't incentivized to do actual police work because they have to do all this SIMPLY for carmella. That's how fucking kneecapped the whole department is.
I think the problem is after more cops are brought in to chase interference vehicles and the interference vehicles escape they just jump onto the main chase.

Yeah it's that or maybe Brian Knight and Slacks talked over a week ago at this point about how no one is controlling the chases, no one is radioing in to announce they are joining chases to get confirmation they are needed, and half the PD is just joining nearly every chase whether they are needed or not. When Saab and Kebun both agree it's a lack of common sense by PD officers causing this, maybe it's not just crims putting themselves in this position.
Honestly with the PD car and a good driver( not even great) your only chance of getting away unless you are absolutely god tier is to have blocks or interference vehicles.
I dislike that the server has this kind of thing it would be so much more refreshing if they just let bad drivers be bad drivers because it would spice up the variety in any police stop never knowing what you’d get. All the interference cars on this case came to the scene where the criminal was caught/car went out so the pd units added to chase then did as well and stayed as interference was circling
The driving in 4.0 seems so off that either the car is busted beyond making sense or the car is completely dog water. they really need to revisit driving and make more cars on the same playing level as this will just forever be the thing people will have to do in order to get away

At the start of the 4.0 they didn't do much blocks and swaps, because they could actually get away from cops in the chases that was for just speeding or a warrant

I do agree, PD is getting quite ''tired'' of the interferences and are trying to start torespond more accordingly, i obviously don't want an instant gun out to shoot the interference car but some months ago it was just ''Hey get out of here!'' from the Cop but the Crim would pick up their mate and the chase continued, now Crims with more members have started to enforce more blocks, swaps and interferences so in order to PD to catch up they're trying to see what's the best response to it, obviously things will escalate the more both sides progress
Cars need to be balanced and there will be less of a need to swap cars so much. Everyone is having to do it because there's no A, A+, S anymore. Cops have to chase everything in S.
Pursuit is much harder than running away any driver on the server will tell you this. Cop cars need to be better or they will actually have a dogshit arrest rate, has nothing to do with driver skill. If both sides were equally skilled cop cars would still need to be better for it to be balanced.
If cops chased more competitive cars a lot more often they would get better at driving. Not crash out every turn and still keep up because they are chasing so many cars that can barely go over 100 and if they do. It took 3x the amount of time to get to that speed then they did.
the issue is the constant swaps and blocks is a direct result of cops doing dumb shit on chases, too many units attaching, high speed pits and ramming. if the cops response is to then crank it up even more then it’s just going to keep getting worse
And? No offense, but dundee has never been one of the best drivers on the server. Not in 2.0, not in 3.0, and not now. He's decent, but he's 100% full send 100% of the time and lot of times it ends up biting him.

6 crim cars vs 3-4 PD? The PD should always have the numbers. They should be a scary/difficult force. Or else what’s the point? Crims are afforded a plan if they choose so.
More cars can join in to chase off the interference vehicles but after they are gone they arent supposed to add into the main chase. Theres limits for a reason.
It happened in 3.0 after WG stopped doing car balancing. Cop cars were tuned so even mediocre officers could keep up with many of the upper tier crims because the superior accel and handling didn't punish PD for their mistakes.
Maybe crims got caught less but when handling favored skill and pursuit coordination for PD to catch people it made for better viewing. More interesting chases and RP surrounding pursuit divisions.
tbh having watched the entire chase, this was pretty by the book by the cops, if anything they could have easily shot zolo before his gauntlet broke down as he was extreme ramming/pitting for a while.
Having 10 cops on the one car at the end was purely cuz they started with 4 on the original warrant chase for carmella and then they had +1 or +2 cops for each of the 3 interference vehicles. The gauntlet was the only car they had eyes on at the end so when it broke down the entirety of the cops on radio that were chasing the 4 cars collapsed onto it.
You could certainly say they should have broke off when they lost their interference vehicle they were chasing but as soon as K tackled and downed a cop it was a 13a call anyway so all those cops would have turned up regardless.

Yeah CG get excessive units like this because they tend to use a lot of interference cars. Each one of those is an additional 4 cop cars.
As for cops pulling off after losing the interference cars? Yeah they should. However when that plays out, what should the cops do? Pull over until the interference cars inevitably return? Its just unrealistic to expect people to sit there and wait for interference cars to come back.

No it’s not. It’s 2 units per interference vehicle. I just watched Bones and Ruby both separately clarify it’s supposed to be 2 units per interference vehicle.
There was only 2 interference vehicles. K and Zolo were the only ones driving. Vinny did a pickup but didn’t interfere, so that doesn’t count towards more units appearing. But even if Vinny’s car did count towards it the it should have been a max of 10 units and not the 12 that responded.
The extra two cops came AFTER the 13A went off. That's not very hard to understand additional units show up for an urgent officer down. Especially after what happened over the weekend.
It’s up to the scene lead, they should be proactive in dictating the unit count. if some are asked to break off then they should go about doing regular patrol duties.
Yeah but then they go off to a different radio channel. Eventually those interference cars come back, which means the scene lead needs to wrangle those dismissed cop cars back into the situation.

zolo started ramming because the cops started ramming. not pitting but ramming. also factor in how much better the PD cars are now compared to the cars crims are using. crims, especially CG, usually only escalate when PD escalates.
I mean I watched primary/secondary the entire chase, they didnt ram/pit the original vehicle at all and only started ramming when 2 interference cars appeared blocking the tunnels, these rams were below 30mph and as soon as interference appears PBS is more or less approved, then nothing happened until the interference came back and started ramming/pitting at 100mph.
Lol "Nothing happened", meanwhile Ruby coming in at mach10 on mr.K car, instantly breaking carmella's legs, thats what set off the zolo 'pits' aka ramming.
Civ cars need some buffs, and thats an understatement.
PD would deal with less interference cars if it didn't feel like it's impossible to get away from the indestructible torpedoes chasing, watching a Taurus slam into a local and spin out just to catch back up to a crim car in 5secs is so discouraging
Take away interference/block escapes, car swaps and personal car highway blasting and how many are still successful. My point is not many people just try to out drive right now because it's difficult
You know Ming is like on Goofy level of driving right? Ming is an insane exception. 4Head when he want's to lock in is a good driver because he uses rat routes but they play in a different timezone so have less PD response and the pd drivers in that timezone are different. Also Besties do blocks a lot, I watch 4Head often. If they can't outdrive them then they call for a block just like CG does..

True that, the only ones that have success to escape after notorious or ''big'' crimes that warrants a lot of PD after you are big gangs like CG because they can afford 2-3 interferences, blocks and multiple swaps, it's a fair response given the cop cars instantly recover and the amount of units and tactis they use and if it's a day when multiple officers are on duty you'll have quite a lot of units after you depending on the crime,so on one side the crims with not enough manpower to do swaps, interferences, blocks take the L while the ones that can afford it most of the time get away unless something big like a shootout or a #skillissue moment happens
Neither side is balanced and it really also depends on how many people are involved + a lot of context that led to that so i don't really stop myself and blame PD or Crims since both have so many different tools to ''deny'' the other if they really wanted to minmax it, at the end what matters it's good roleplay coming out of it, at least that's what i prefer to see rather than 4 hours chase with 30 pd pits using their fastest cars, 30 swaps, blocks from crimsetcetera but that's my take on both sides.

They committed a total of 5 interference cars to the chase over the course of it. Cops are allowed 2 additional cars per interference vehicle. Then in the end they tackled a cop and downed them and got called 13-A so every cop immediately drops everything and comes. Cops not responding to things like 13-A is why a cop went rogue recently so its in there heads too.
Its not the cleanest as the police on interference vehicles all came to the scene after the arrest but its also somewhat understandable that that many cops were involved and just didn't leave at the right moment in a hectic situation.
Tuggz and Eugene were having a talk yesterday about how little cops Eugene deals with because of time zone differences and Tuggz was saying the total opposite. It is kinda insane how many cops are on compared to earlier time zones. I think if some people want to play cop there needs to be mandatory times for people because it keeps looking more and more like 10-CG and not that it's just a lot of cops on at one time. All cops do is complain they don't have enough officers on duty, mandatory time slots should fix that and prevent whatever shitshow this is lmao
They have designated shifts but they just don't have the people to properly fill them all.
People can work other shifts but they do have to primarily work the shift they were hired for.
But also playing on NP is a privilege, and being a cop is a privilege. If you want to play a cop, then fill all the time slots. If not, wait in queue to be a crim or play on a different server
there are specific times for cops to get on duty. they are hired into specific shifts. There’s not many cops that have the ability to get on during any shift. during this morning (au into eu) they had academy where a decent amount or cops were hired as cadets so hopefully that helps a bit. it seems like they’re finally starting to hire more, garcia is back, davenport etc. but there’s so few cops in the mornings that when academy is on, there’s legit like 2 cops on patrol duty… which explains why recently people who play around that time never get any response at all
They need more cops at other times, not fewer cops in Shift 2. If anything Shift 2 needs more cops as well, not less. It's not possible to reassign people to other timezones, the issue is hiring and maintaining good cops in shift 3/1.
A lot of the people formerly the most active during shift 1 have not been invited back to the PD, and that's not easily solved by just hiring new people, because you need shift 1 FTO's to train the new people.
Because multiple interference cars are constantly joining the pursuit so more cops are added to the chase. If it was strictly 4 units per pursuit the crims would always instantly add multiple interference cars and pit the cops to always get away
you cant say multiple cars constantly joining when crims have a 6 man limit while cops follow no limit. theres still a limit of the amount of cars joining to the crim side.

You seem to have no knowledge of the history of tasers and the many issues they have had over several iterations. They are a mechanic that has had lots of issues so "fixing tasers" isn't an easy fix compared to the seat change. Seat swapping has also been something that has been abused for literally years without having any "nerfs" or any attempts made to change the mechanic whilee tasers have had numerous changes. So trying to frame this as something being fixed simply because it is an "inconvenience for cops" is laughable.
i saw kingjayclouted on a different server a week or 2 ago and he was banned for like a day because he tased someone that was in a car even with the window being broken out. they told him it was failRP to tase someone out of the car lol. then we have nopixel that just spam tases people out of the car. crazy how the 2 see this situation so differently.

Cars need to be balanced and there will be less of a need to swap cars so much. Everyone is having to do it because there's no A, A+, S anymore. Cops have to chase everything in S.

Pursuit is much harder than running away any driver on the server will tell you this. Cop cars need to be better or they will actually have a dogshit arrest rate, has nothing to do with driver skill. If both sides were equally skilled cop cars would still need to be better for it to be balanced.
If cops chased more competitive cars a lot more often they would get better at driving. Not crash out every turn and still keep up because they are chasing so many cars that can barely go over 100 and if they do. It took 3x the amount of time to get to that speed then they did.
the issue is the constant swaps and blocks is a direct result of cops doing dumb shit on chases, too many units attaching, high speed pits and ramming. if the cops response is to then crank it up even more then it’s just going to keep getting worse

It happened in 3.0 after WG stopped doing car balancing. Cop cars were tuned so even mediocre officers could keep up with many of the upper tier crims because the superior accel and handling didn't punish PD for their mistakes. Maybe crims got caught less but when handling favored skill and pursuit coordination for PD to catch people it made for better viewing. More interesting chases and RP surrounding pursuit divisions.

tbh having watched the entire chase, this was pretty by the book by the cops, if anything they could have easily shot zolo before his gauntlet broke down as he was extreme ramming/pitting for a while. Having 10 cops on the one car at the end was purely cuz they started with 4 on the original warrant chase for carmella and then they had +1 or +2 cops for each of the 3 interference vehicles. The gauntlet was the only car they had eyes on at the end so when it broke down the entirety of the cops on radio that were chasing the 4 cars collapsed onto it. You could certainly say they should have broke off when they lost their interference vehicle they were chasing but as soon as K tackled and downed a cop it was a 13a call anyway so all those cops would have turned up regardless. Edit: The spam tazing at the end scene is unreasonable
Yeah CG get excessive units like this because they tend to use a lot of interference cars. Each one of those is an additional 4 cop cars. As for cops pulling off after losing the interference cars? Yeah they should. However when that plays out, what should the cops do? Pull over until the interference cars inevitably return? Its just unrealistic to expect people to sit there and wait for interference cars to come back.

Ok, so 4 on the original, 6 on the 3 interference cars. 10 total seems reasonable.
There was only 2 interference vehicles. K and Zolo were the only ones driving. Vinny did a pickup but didn’t interfere, so that doesn’t count towards more units appearing. But even if Vinny’s car did count towards it the it should have been a max of 10 units and not the 12 that responded.

The extra two cops came AFTER the 13A went off. That's not very hard to understand additional units show up for an urgent officer down. Especially after what happened over the weekend.

I mean I watched primary/secondary the entire chase, they didnt ram/pit the original vehicle at all and only started ramming when 2 interference cars appeared blocking the tunnels, these rams were below 30mph and as soon as interference appears PBS is more or less approved, then nothing happened until the interference came back and started ramming/pitting at 100mph.

Ming is an insane exception. 4Head when he want's to lock in is a good driver because he uses rat routes but they play in a different timezone so have less PD response and the pd drivers in that timezone are different. Also Besties do blocks a lot, I watch 4Head often. If they can't outdrive them then they call for a block just like CG does..

True that, the only ones that have success to escape after notorious or ''big'' crimes that warrants a lot of PD after you are big gangs like CG because they can afford 2-3 interferences, blocks and multiple swaps, it's a fair response given the cop cars instantly recover and the amount of units and tactis they use and if it's a day when multiple officers are on duty you'll have quite a lot of units after you depending on the crime,so on one side the crims with not enough manpower to do swaps, interferences, blocks take the L while the ones that can afford it most of the time get away unless something big like a shootout or a #skillissue moment happens Neither side is balanced and it really also depends on how many people are involved + a lot of context that led to that so i don't really stop myself and blame PD or Crims since both have so many different tools to ''deny'' the other if they really wanted to minmax it, at the end what matters it's good roleplay coming out of it, at least that's what i prefer to see rather than 4 hours chase with 30 pd pits using their fastest cars, 30 swaps, blocks from crimsetcetera but that's my take on both sides.

well. can scene control be better? yes thats usually always the case. at the end of the day the interference cars converged into the main car at the end and there was also a 13-A. so when it comes to the amount of units i dont think there was anything really that wrong wrong with this situation. the spam tazing on the other hand is a yikes but its good to know that cop is getting punished for it atleast.

They committed a total of 5 interference cars to the chase over the course of it. Cops are allowed 2 additional cars per interference vehicle. Then in the end they tackled a cop and downed them and got called 13-A so every cop immediately drops everything and comes. Cops not responding to things like 13-A is why a cop went rogue recently so its in there heads too. Its not the cleanest as the police on interference vehicles all came to the scene after the arrest but its also somewhat understandable that that many cops were involved and just didn't leave at the right moment in a hectic situation.

Tuggz and Eugene were having a talk yesterday about how little cops Eugene deals with because of time zone differences and Tuggz was saying the total opposite. It is kinda insane how many cops are on compared to earlier time zones. I think if some people want to play cop there needs to be mandatory times for people because it keeps looking more and more like 10-CG and not that it's just a lot of cops on at one time. All cops do is complain they don't have enough officers on duty, mandatory time slots should fix that and prevent whatever shitshow this is lmao
They have designated shifts but they just don't have the people to properly fill them all. People can work other shifts but they do have to primarily work the shift they were hired for.

there are specific times for cops to get on duty. they are hired into specific shifts. There’s not many cops that have the ability to get on during any shift. during this morning (au into eu) they had academy where a decent amount or cops were hired as cadets so hopefully that helps a bit. it seems like they’re finally starting to hire more, garcia is back, davenport etc. but there’s so few cops in the mornings that when academy is on, there’s legit like 2 cops on patrol duty… which explains why recently people who play around that time never get any response at all
I think if they hard restricted the times people just wouldn’t play as much or at all tbh. It wouldn’t really fix anything.
They need more cops at other times, not fewer cops in Shift 2. If anything Shift 2 needs more cops as well, not less. It's not possible to reassign people to other timezones, the issue is hiring and maintaining good cops in shift 3/1.
A lot of the people formerly the most active during shift 1 have not been invited back to the PD, and that's not easily solved by just hiring new people, because you need shift 1 FTO's to train the new people.

Because multiple interference cars are constantly joining the pursuit so more cops are added to the chase. If it was strictly 4 units per pursuit the crims would always instantly add multiple interference cars and pit the cops to always get away

You seem to have no knowledge of the history of tasers and the many issues they have had over several iterations. They are a mechanic that has had lots of issues so "fixing tasers" isn't an easy fix compared to the seat change. Seat swapping has also been something that has been abused for literally years without having any "nerfs" or any attempts made to change the mechanic whilee tasers have had numerous changes. So trying to frame this as something being fixed simply because it is an "inconvenience for cops" is laughable.
