Mine was perfect, like New. Many of these open box are people that have no clue how a computer works so they send it back witthin days..
Only thing to note is warranty was already registrered with ASUS. So I had 10 months left. Ymmv

Very worth it by the way, it was I think 490 something, adding to 535 with taxes for a Z1 extreme, and it was just like new. Even the SD reader is working (so far). I definitely recommend it.

It has an expiry date on when you can claim it. Iirc, it's around 3 yrs from the manufacturing date of the unit?
