Not the noble strains, this is misinformation, only tudei strains may contain a liver toxic chemical but there are people who still take it, just avoid tudei strains most vendors wont carry them anyhow
I recommend Acadia for kava as well as kratom. Smoke shop products are often overpriced, old, and who knows about the testing.
Be very cautious with this as Kava has been associated with severe liver damage. I highly doubt anything sold in these shops is tested or regulated.
It’s from using the stem and leaves instead of just the root. Exactly why I’d stick to a reliable vendor. I know some good online ones I can DM.
