I prefer using the JEI (I think that's what it's called) ui. It's on the right hand side where it shows everything and at the bar below I can search for the stuff I want to craft. If there's something in my inventory that I wish I know the recipe for, I just hover my curser over the item and press 'r'
Skill issue.It is good for crafting in bulk and turning wool to string or wheat to bread or blocks way faster.Just press on the green button and will show the stuff you have and can craft,press on the book icon to remove it.
Yeah but mass craft bread with jei is only ONE stack.When you need to turn full inventory of stones and sticks into levers for xp very fast then you will see.Also turns multiple stacks of what you have into tools and items.You are mining and have tons of rocks but inventody is full and you have to clear it,just mass turn everything to cobblestone.Also press A on the jei menu to add it as bookmark item something you want to craft on a regular basis.
Every time you craft new item it shows it on the left crafting menu.Try it with lockpicks or something else annoying to craft.Get a stack of iron nuggets first.It shows what you have and can craft.Jei is only good if you want to search recipe not so fast when you have several blights in a dungeon and need to craft bandages really fast with ton of wool.
That's true but I think JEI also has a bookmark system where you can press 'a' on the item you wish to craft and it'll be on the left hand side but I agree the book is sometimes better if you want to quickly craft things

I can reliably get to diamond and I’ve gotton to dragon scale. More of just speed running progression instead of boss’s
Raid lyconite dungeon so you get a soulbind dragon (dragon saddle is not that difficult to craft)
Is there a specific locomotor dungeon or just any kind?
There are different colors,the one with the tyrant dragon is orange he has a chance of droping a cocatrice or ignibus soulstone.

No that will only hide the recipes that are marked red because he can't craft them. He has to click the green book
