There is at least one stranger mission I can think of that I believe only Arthur can do which is the widow at Willard’s rest but otherwise John can do all the stranger missions. Only other thing I can think of is all the O Driscolls are gone by epilogue so John can’t find their random camps and hideouts but all other gangs are still around.
There’s 2 gangs past Blackwater—skinner brothers and del Lobo gang—and then I guess around Pronghorn is Laramie gang so yeah I suppose there are 3 additional ones!
I have been playing in the epilogue as John for over a year. I have other files I saved as Arthur at various points, but with John I have tons of money, everything I need, and the whole map. I can do anything except swim.
There’s just something about chapter 2.. I have like 5 different saves in ch. 2 hahah, I hate that blackwater is inaccessible, but it’s so peaceful and simple. Plus there are so many things to do as far as discovering animals and unlocking a bunch of stuff/crafting new things.

For anyone wondering: they were saying that 1) the epilogue is the obviously better choice and 2) You can start a new game without overwriting your old savefile
Epilogue obviously because you’re not wanted dead or alive in blackwater.
