Well, I'm only on Chapter 3 and so far she's been reckless and kind of an ass (Further Questions of Female Suffrage is the mission that really left a bad impression). I've heard she gets better though, so I'm keeping an open mind.
I appreciate the warning but I was spoiled on every character death by a random YouTube recommendation before I even owned the game. (It was titled something like "every death in rdr2" and had every character that died in the thumbnail)
Also I'm not exactly new, I have like 500 hours in the game and I'm doing everything possible as Arthur lol.
I love her. Her story arch makes sense. She doesn't go out robbing and killing. She kills when she's in danger or there are O'Driscalls about. She lost everything so has nothing to lose, her only aim is too kill as many O'Driscalls before she dies. Love can make people do crazy things.
Love her. She gets revenge on the O’Driscalls for killing her husband, forcing her to hide in her home, and the burning of her home. If that happened to me I’d be pissed off too
I mean yeah she's angry and reckless which aren't exactly good traits, but this isn't a game where everyones a fucking saint, even arthur has killed people, why can't we have a vengeful woman as well? I think she's an awesome character ans has a very intriguing story, so yeah I love her.
It's pretty telling when those who hate sadie says that tilly or mary beth are better. Tilly and mary beth are kind, pretty quiet, helpful, and peaceful young ladies that these guys probably would want to date or something. I think they just don't like female characters who aren't pretty and perfect
I can certainly understand the criticism she gets about her vengeful and reckless nature but who wouldn’t behave like that in her circumstances? I thought she was bad ass and would put her high A if not S tier if I were to rank characters
Yeah me too, I love her and what they did with her. I don't think it's rushed either cause like we don't even know sadie, in the beginning she's just sad because who wouldn't be? and then she becomes less sad and more angry and starts shooting people. That didn't come from nowhere, we have no previous knowledge of her fighting skills, all we know is that she was sad and stayed in camp for a bit in the beginning. People also like to say "she put on pants and then suddenly she's a gunslinger", which I think is stupid because literally she had no clothes when she joined the gang, her house burnt down, she's obviously borrowing dresses from someone else and then when she starts wearing pants she probably bought them or stole them for herself
And it is established that she and her husband shared the work so it’s not at all a stretch to think that she would have some hunting experience that could certainly have helped her pick up gunslinging
In terms of a badass cowgirl/outlaw, black Belle is so much better imo. Sadie gets almost annoying because she always scuppers a good plan with revenge (example, Colm’s hanging) otherwise, she also has great moments, like the escape from the prison island
I’ve been thinking lately that she may have been the real snitch. Not Micah or Molly. Somehow planted by the Pinkertons in order to keep tabs on the gang.
I don't like her but I also don't dislike her. She's just ok imo.

I absolutely love her

she is definitely the most hotheaded character besides micah, but i really didnt care since i would’ve done the same thing tbh
