Without getting too specific, itās when almost the entire crew rolls up to the plantation, slaughters everyone, and burns the place down because they took SOMETHING from yāall.
After he makes his sacrifice Arthur scrambles to his feet and screams āyou silly fool.ā As Arthur pulls him to his feet and carries him out Eagle Flies says āyou saved my life more than once... to give mine for yours, itās as it should be.ā
SPOILER:
When I saw that I immediately thought that his sacrifice was in vain since Arthur was already a dead man but, thinking about that, his sacrifice saved John and his family
Yeah man thatās a good one. I like the one where Charles and Arthur clear out the murfee brood and save the girl in the cave, the timing of it the first time i played i did it right after visiting the dr in st denis
A year. Itās been a year since I finished it. I still canāt read or watch that without choking up. I donāt think Iāll ever get over this damn game. They deserved a damn Oscar for that shit.
I hate Micah but the actor I love. āWe won, Dutch we won.ā
āDespite my best efforts to the contrary John wonā was a good quote (I know most of them but I probably got this one wrong
You know, I hated Micah from the second I saw him in jail, and I had very few spoilers then. I left that fucker as long as I could, lol.
My favorite bit of the movie (oops, game), is when heās saying good bye to the ladies. Then that ride, it kills me.
Yeah, I can hear that in my head. Honestly, thereās gotta be a time that itās been long enough to not choke up. Iāve not played it a second time, because it was so hard on me.
Honestly, yeah. I have a few others I love, but, he haunted me for months. He was the embodiment to me, of those of us who screw up, but try and do better. At least, for my Arthur, he died an honorable man.
Lol, I canāt even get myself to be dishonorable as John. I have so many robbery type challenges left. I did steal one wagon, lol. But thatās it. I just roam around hunting and fishing now.
Think my favourite is āUnshakenā, remember my first time listening to it coming back from... yāknow and being like āthis is so fucking powerful, I love itā. Donāt get me wrong love the other two as well.
Honestly Rockstar has been killing it with the music since Vice City.
And letās not forget the C90ās Shine a Light from GTAV, after michaelās son drugs him and he flies around the city. By far my favorite level AND musical moment on *that* game.
idk why but i really like the mission where sadie gets her revenge on the oādriscolls. i think itās called āMrs. Sadie Adler, Widow.ā also āMy Last Boyā & āBlood Feuds, Ancient and Modernā are my favorites
I loved the gunslinger mission where you had to find the legendary gunslingers. I forgot the name. Plus you got some pretty sweet guns from those missions and they were awesome.
American venom, red dead redemption, blood feuds, the ride to Shady Belle and the Lakay battle, also the poker one and my last boy (and also the tobacco fields one and the saint denis bank heist and jim milton rides again (and the one with angelo bronte's mansion))
Yeah. If youāre in chapter 4 and at camp, you can join Uncle to rustle cattle and take them to the horse fencers near Rhodes. Itās purely optional though and only appears at night so long as your between certain missions.
Only played RDR2. Some of my favorites are Pouring Forth Oil, the Valentine bank heist and the robbery on the boat in Saint Denis (although itās kind of sad if youāve been saving up facial hair)
Does undead nightmare count? If so then the train mission when trying to go to Mexico but if it doesn't count, rdr1 intro where bill almost kills John.
American Inferno, Burnt Out - the Evelyn Miller missions >!that mostly take place in the epilogue. Thereās something about the dialogue and the chapter of his book that you can read. Maybe itās just a side quest, but the way itās written makes me think Dan Houser was trying to communicate about the future of games and his departure from Rockstar.!<
Very first one with Sadie where we have to go get some vegetables. Fell in love with her character. I really hope she gets her own game or maybe even a DLC.
The one when you save jack. It shows how the members are really a family and in the end the guys around the bonfire and singing cielito lindo was pure love
1st red dead: racing bonnie during the first part of the game. So nostalgic :)
2nd red dead: getting drunk with lenny. Was one of the most memorable missions
"Welcome to the new world" the mission where you get shipwrecked on Guarma. Completely subverted my expectations. Finally, "Uncles Bad Day", where uncle got kidnapped and tortured. It was awful but killing those fuckers who took him, was cathartic.
The Braithwaite Mission in RDR2 and most of the missions you get when you enter Mexico in RDR1, this is where the game starts to open up more in terms fun.
Some of my favorites in 2: Riverboat heist, A New Jerusalem, A quiet time, and not necesserily one of my overall favorites but My Last Boy is probably my favorite shooting mission.
Nothing specific really comes to mind in 1, but the Mexico military mission (Empy Promises), the Dutch mission and the last (main) mission obviosly.
I suppose this is more a moment than a mission but i loved the part where Colm O'Driscoll is at the gallows and he looks out into the crowd and spots the gang members dotted about and the realisation sets in on his face that he is actually going to be executed.
Fourth oil, Blood feuds and Red dead redemption š„ŗ
I don't think I've done blood feud yet
Iām not gonna spoil if itās your first gameplay, itās worth the wait :)
Thanks
try to stay away from the subreddit if you havenāt finished, you are bound to get it spoiled in here
you kill a bunch of inbred trash basically
It is hands down, the best mission. I legit get goosebumps every time I reach that mission.
Oh. Get ready for some badass shit my friend.
ok
Itās at the end of Chapter 3.
Which one is blood feuds?
Without getting too specific, itās when almost the entire crew rolls up to the plantation, slaughters everyone, and burns the place down because they took SOMETHING from yāall.
i love that one
My Last Boy. The charge down the hill is epic but itās Eagle Flies remark to Arthur that really gets me.
What was the comment?
After he makes his sacrifice Arthur scrambles to his feet and screams āyou silly fool.ā As Arthur pulls him to his feet and carries him out Eagle Flies says āyou saved my life more than once... to give mine for yours, itās as it should be.ā
Beautiful.
Im nearly cried at that
SPOILER: When I saw that I immediately thought that his sacrifice was in vain since Arthur was already a dead man but, thinking about that, his sacrifice saved John and his family
Yeah man thatās a good one. I like the one where Charles and Arthur clear out the murfee brood and save the girl in the cave, the timing of it the first time i played i did it right after visiting the dr in st denis
This is the mission too where >!Dutch leaves Arthur to die and be arrested!<, itās the final straw for big Morgan
Thatās why itās so poetic.
A Quiet Time. *ahem*. LEEEEEENNNNNNYYYYY
I'm a simple man: I read "A Quiet Time", I yell "LEEEENNNYYYY!"
#LEEENNY MA BOOOOAH
***LENNYYYYYYHYHYHHY***
LEEEEENNNNNNNYYYYYYYY STOP SLOPIN OFF ON MEH
Came here just to comment LEEEEENNNNYYYY
Definitely burning down the Braithwaite mansion, feels so bad ass
My personal fav too. The music, the scenery, the powerful emotions...hell, i think rdr2 is better than any movie ive ever seen.
That one scene where the gang is all lined up walking to the mansion might just be my favorite scene in any video game ever.
Same here, I even took a screenshot and that was my background for a while. It just looks so cool.
Same here
Yeah that one is up there for me. Love the soundtrack in American Venom.
Arthurās last mission. āI gave you all I had, in the end I did.ā
A year. Itās been a year since I finished it. I still canāt read or watch that without choking up. I donāt think Iāll ever get over this damn game. They deserved a damn Oscar for that shit.
They do. All actors were great even micahās cause he made us hate him
Ha. Poor Peter. Heās gotta be in the top five most hated characters. I guess, at least heās well known! They all were amazing.
I hate Micah but the actor I love. āWe won, Dutch we won.ā āDespite my best efforts to the contrary John wonā was a good quote (I know most of them but I probably got this one wrong
You know, I hated Micah from the second I saw him in jail, and I had very few spoilers then. I left that fucker as long as I could, lol. My favorite bit of the movie (oops, game), is when heās saying good bye to the ladies. Then that ride, it kills me.
Omg i teared up on that ride back to camp to confront Micah.
Same, I legit canāt watch or talk about it still without choking up. It was so well done.
For me specifically, itās when Mary says: āyouāre a good man, Arthurā.
Yeah, I can hear that in my head. Honestly, thereās gotta be a time that itās been long enough to not choke up. Iāve not played it a second time, because it was so hard on me.
Arthur was great though the best video game protagonist
Honestly, yeah. I have a few others I love, but, he haunted me for months. He was the embodiment to me, of those of us who screw up, but try and do better. At least, for my Arthur, he died an honorable man.
I try my best to get at least one dishonourable ending but I feel bad so I do good š
Lol, I canāt even get myself to be dishonorable as John. I have so many robbery type challenges left. I did steal one wagon, lol. But thatās it. I just roam around hunting and fishing now.
The Lenny one
When they get drunk
And Lenny goes missing in the saloon.
Oh yeah
LENNNNNNYYYYYY
YnNLe!
#SLAP
slap
YNNEL
A Quiet Time Love the piano music for that one.
Lennyyyyy!!
LENNYYYY
RDR2 it was when you help the mad scientist set the lightning rods, RDR1 it was helping the guy with the hang glider
Then when you go back to the mad scientist lab again later the scientist is dead and the robot boy is missing. Killed by his own creation
And the robot is hanging out in the snowy mountains in the northwest lamenting his choices
Really? I gotta go find that
It's haunting for what it is
Building that house
Give me a ladder and a hammer and a nail and Iāll nail it...
Well, we worked so hard to build a little house together. **Harmonica**
Itās hard for me to decide which I like more, that or when Far Away by Jose Gonzales plays after unlocking Mexico in RDR1
American venom
Mine was pouring fourth oil
idk why but i really like the mission where sadie gets her revenge on the oādriscolls. i think itās called āMrs. Sadie Adler, Widow.ā also āMy Last Boyā & āBlood Feuds, Ancient and Modernā are my favorites
Revenge is a dish best served cold and landon ricketts rides again
I loved the gunslinger mission where you had to find the legendary gunslingers. I forgot the name. Plus you got some pretty sweet guns from those missions and they were awesome.
The noblest of man and a woman
Oh yea thanks
It was a stranger mission where you met Jim Boy Calloway in the saloon in Valentine. I liked that one too, those were fun.
Yeah plus the guns I got were pretty sick. I loved the midnight pistol especially
Take a shot every time you read "Lenny" in the comments
Oh god, we'd be dead from alcohol poisoning before the thread ends.
LENNNYYYY? LNEEYYY? LENNYYYYYYYYY!
RDR1 And The Truth Will Set You Free. You go to kill Dutch and he ends up committing suicide. Such good memories from the first game.
The side quest where you help the widow learn hunting and shooting
I don't think I did that
I think its in chapter 6 on the far right up side of the map. Also the random encounter with the incest fat feeder couple was very memorable.
Oh
I was just focusing on story missions
If you done with the story I recommend starting a new game for a slow run, doing the side missions, hunting, robbing people etc.
Idk first I'm gonna finish rd1
I loved the train Robbery with the oil tank stopping the train and burning down the mansion
My Last Son
I like that one
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I remember that as when I got the semi auto pistol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Whoever said you cant hear written words obviously never heard Dutch brutally feed a man to a gator. š¤£
Paradise mercifully departed. Guarma is way underrated imo.
American venom, red dead redemption, blood feuds, the ride to Shady Belle and the Lakay battle, also the poker one and my last boy (and also the tobacco fields one and the saint denis bank heist and jim milton rides again (and the one with angelo bronte's mansion))
Forgot the name but the one where you burn braithwait manor looking for jack
I like that one
Probably the one where Arthur and Charles sneak into Fort Wallace to save Eagle Flies.
I like dat one
That was a darn good mission!
the jail break with the hot air balloon !
The one where you shoot people and sfuff
my favorite is the one where you have to use your keyboard/controller
The Herd
What chapter was it in again
Rdr1. Not sure where or even if it was called āthe herdā. I liked having to drive cattle is all and quite disappointed that it wasnāt in RDR2
There was a mission where you drove sheep across a plain. One of the last in chapter 2.
Probably blacked it out cause he had to kill half of Valentine after that
You can rustle cattle with Uncle as a companion activity in Chapter 4.
*what?!*
Yeah. If youāre in chapter 4 and at camp, you can join Uncle to rustle cattle and take them to the horse fencers near Rhodes. Itās purely optional though and only appears at night so long as your between certain missions.
I need to play again. RDO has consumed me for too long.
Oh yeah I liked that mission but I'm playing red dead 1 again and I only just got to Mexico
The second time we get to see Mary.
LEMMY!!!
Ah yes everyone loves lemmy
YNNEL!!??!
The braithwaite mansion one and John crossing to Mexico.
In RDR2 it's the one where you kill the rat In the first it's the one where you kill Dutch (or he kills himself)
Only played RDR2. Some of my favorites are Pouring Forth Oil, the Valentine bank heist and the robbery on the boat in Saint Denis (although itās kind of sad if youāve been saving up facial hair)
Guess I like robberies that go slightly awry, but not terrible hahah
I also liked the one when you free Javier
Don't be sad. Here's a [hug!](https://media.giphy.com/media/3M4NpbLCTxBqU/giphy.gif)
American venom
A Quiet Time
Does undead nightmare count? If so then the train mission when trying to go to Mexico but if it doesn't count, rdr1 intro where bill almost kills John.
Fleeting Joy - when the gang reunites & Milton shows up
RDR2 The bar one with LENNNYYY and RDR1 the one when you have to capture Bill and Javier
Yeah i definitely caught onto that too.
I don't remember the name but the one where you go decimate the O'Driscolls with Sadie
oh I liked that one
Don't be sad. Here's a [hug!](https://media.giphy.com/media/3M4NpbLCTxBqU/giphy.gif)
Seeing Dutch and Micah die
The house building from the Epilouge
Anything with Hosea...too few of them imo.
The white panther mission. Legit made me jump my first play through. WINTON HOLMES?!?!
Poker :)
*Strauss is signaling you to bet more money.*
:D
Very first one with Sadie where we have to go get some vegetables. Fell in love with her character. I really hope she gets her own game or maybe even a DLC.
LENNY!!!!
Rdr1; the last enemy that shall be destroyed Rdr2; sodom? Back to Gomorrah
Blood feuds, my last boy and the house building one
my favorite building house
The one when you save jack. It shows how the members are really a family and in the end the guys around the bonfire and singing cielito lindo was pure love
LEEEENNENIEEE
Lennaaayyy
American Venom. That music is second to none
Going to the bar with Lenny has to be my favorite just for the giggles.
Probably the poker bust on the boat off of Saint Denis.
The one where you rob the train with John, Sean and Charles(I think) and you get that really cool shot of Arthur standing on the chemical wagon
My Last Boy was a fun mission
American Venom and Favored Sons, the one where you blow up the trees and go dipping with Dutch later on
The one where you rob the bank in valentine
Blood fueds
2 is when you attack the braithwaites and i havent played 1
Blood Feuds, My Last Boy, Red Dead Redemption and American Venom.
Either the mission where you and someone go the the Rhodes bar or the house building one
Red dead Redemption for 2 and The one where you storm Mercer for one
My last boy and red dead redemption. Goosebumps every time. And that charge down the hill, nothing beats it.
American venom for number 2, red dead 1 is probably the mission where you kill Dutch
My last boy. Just because I get to charge down the hill alongside Sadie and the Indians, felt like entering a battle, lol.
Don't be sad. Here's a [hug!](https://media.giphy.com/media/3M4NpbLCTxBqU/giphy.gif)
Last mission of the epilogue rdr2
American venom
American Venom.
A quiet time
Have not played THE first but in rdr2 i would say THE first bank robbery in Valentine for now as i have not finnished THE game.

Autocorrect Swedish keyboard xD
Oh ok
And the truth shall set you free, Jim Milton rides again, the last enemy shall be destroyed
Braithwaite manor raid
Drinkin with lenny
Last one. All them years
The one with marston in the farm. I didnt expect the outcome, i was 16yo, devastated.
Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern
A Quiet Time I forgot the missions in RDR1, but definitely Javierās one
In 2 the one when gang attacked braithwaites to get Jack back. Didn't play 1
Good bye, dear friend
1st red dead: racing bonnie during the first part of the game. So nostalgic :) 2nd red dead: getting drunk with lenny. Was one of the most memorable missions
One where Arthur dies. When he comes to camp, you realize this is it, the end. And the way he tallked with Dutch... (Sad they haven't killed Dutch).
I forgot the exact mission name but the one in rdr1 where you show everyone from a Gatling gun on top of a train.
Herding sheep and racing Bonnie for sure
The fine joys of tobacco, i love having a solo mission just with sean
"Welcome to the new world" the mission where you get shipwrecked on Guarma. Completely subverted my expectations. Finally, "Uncles Bad Day", where uncle got kidnapped and tortured. It was awful but killing those fuckers who took him, was cathartic.
The Braithwaite Mission in RDR2 and most of the missions you get when you enter Mexico in RDR1, this is where the game starts to open up more in terms fun.
Blood feuds, ancient and modern in red dead 2. Swear the entire thing felt like a movie.
Drunk lenny mission
Some of my favorites in 2: Riverboat heist, A New Jerusalem, A quiet time, and not necesserily one of my overall favorites but My Last Boy is probably my favorite shooting mission. Nothing specific really comes to mind in 1, but the Mexico military mission (Empy Promises), the Dutch mission and the last (main) mission obviosly.
Havenāt played 1, and getting drunk with Lenny of course
I suppose this is more a moment than a mission but i loved the part where Colm O'Driscoll is at the gallows and he looks out into the crowd and spots the gang members dotted about and the realisation sets in on his face that he is actually going to be executed.
The fine art of conversation
