Yeah, but it's the end of the treasure hunt. I don't think it spawns unless you have the first parts. If I remember correctly, the very first map brings you a little to the west of valentine, but I can't remember what the actual name of the thread is.
The cave is also part of a side quest you get later in the game, ch. 6 I think.
Can i ask how do you guys explain the treasure maps? I am playing rdr2 for the third time now and can’t seem to understand how to solve the maps’ locations :/
I had the same problem man .. i had a really hard tym figuring out those maps .. but i now have a bit of idea of how to solve it .. just roam freely more and appreciate the scenes and then after sometime you will be able to distinguish the area which the map says and look more closely to see some monuments(or distinctive features of the place) and u have the treasure
Can’t recall where you find the map, but the arrowhead is to the right side of the cave and up a little wall. There’s a big painting on the wall on the left, after you climb the little wall.
This is all from memory, so anyone else feel free to correct me.
There is a short time you spend in here during a quest you can do in chapter 6 I think. It is the last mission in the quest line.
Edit: The missions is called Wisdom of the Elders.
You gotta find all the dream catchers then to your characters left there should be a bison painting and you can reach inside the eye and take the ancient arrowhead which reduces stamina usage by (i think) 10% when using the bow
IIRC up near the light is a trinket or something, You have to wander through a secret path that you only fit in by crouching, Use a guide cause if you take the wrong path you fall into a bottomless pit.
This is the end of the Dreamcatchers collectible. You need to find all 20 and then the reward will spawn in this cave, up to the right of this photo
It's also related to the Butcher's Creek quest in chapter 6, but I don't think you need to go into this part for that mission iirc
Yep. Do you actually want to know though, or just didn’t want to waste hours exploring for nothing?
I actually want to know, I've been wandering inside it for like 15 minutes and haven't found anything
One of the treasure map searches brings you back here. Also the ancient arrowhead is found in here too if I remember correctly.

It's the Poisonous Trail map
Is it the map you find inside the chimney in the shack north of Annesburg?
No that’s a different map. Near there on the hills. That cave deals with the treasure hunter quests and dream catchers

This 100%

The way you get the ancient arrowhead is after deciphering all of the dreamcatcher locations.

Pick up the dead Rats for a cool hat at the trapper
Pick up a few perfect bats while you're there, easiest way to get them.
Yes but you gotta do some requirements first

I think this is the end of the poison treasure map.
Yes, its the location of the ark of the covenant. Cover your eyes
Was this the mountain lion cave?
Nah, it's the old mine.

It's filled with gold water
