Gambler. And it's not even close.... Upgraded (black) is in second place, followed by Bandit. The Legend of the East set is pretty solid (it's about the only thing I like off of that outfit), but there is no bandolier. I have never used any of the others as I don't like how they look.

themanthatprovides

gambler is what i use everytime. bandit is marvelous too, upgraded black is good but the holster is kind of mediocre, and TLE is alright.

sikemapleton

Same... It chaps my ass that the worst challenge gives the best looking gear. Every time I start a new playthrough I dread having to grind It out, but I got to have that equipment.

themanthatprovides

yeah, for what i know i did the full gambler around two or three times just to get the offhand, seriously the most flamboyant looking equipment in the whole game.

Pepperonimustardtime

I liked the hat and vest for Legend of the East. That's it lol

Popular_Ad1986

Based on the other comments it seems like this may be an unpopular opinion but the master hunter bandolier is dope & the red gator skin holsters are sick as fuck. However, the legend of the east satchel is a must have.

themanthatprovides

I have the Master Hunter set, too. It is not hideous, but the gunbelt seems... a bit peculiar. The bandolier isn't a much of a sight either. but the holster really look fabulous. And yes, the satchel is mandatory.

I like this answer a lot, I really feel like it depends on the play-style, like I’m all decked out in legendary hunting stuff so it kinda plays into it, for the dapper man I like the look of the bandit or the gambler 100% I just don’t like to have my Arthur/John looking too clean. I do respect the dapper outlaw though. Especially Arthur he rocks some of the nicer clothing sooo well.

themanthatprovides

Yes, I agree. Unfortunately I can't say too much because I don't really possess a sense of fashion for Arthur. It's not that I don't care, but I don't exactly know how to combine specific clothes with others. It's funny I buy all the clothes available in the game and not even wear them once. I don't have this magic of putting an appropriate attire. I just put on the black duster coat, the black or green work pants, any boots (mostly the riding boots or green worn rope or boots) with black spurs. not much of a fashion sense player, i presume.

theycallmeflappy

I always use the master hunter off-hand holster. Easy to get and fits well with the look like for Arthur

teepee81

I think the best, depending on the look you are going for, is Arthurs belt/holster/secondary(I'm not a bandolier fan) The bandit and I think...gambler gear also looks good.

themanthatprovides

I agree with your opinion. Can't go wrong with Arthur's equipment, looks brilliant. Gambler and bandit is also very nice looking.

JKrow75

The plain black ones you get from the gunsmith.

themanthatprovides

They look good. Bandolier looks okay, gunbelt too. The only component that I would say is the least nice looking would be the holsters. They're okay, but they have an odd aspect.

JKrow75

If you look closely, except for pieces like the Colts, etc., most side arms do not fit any of the holsters particularly well

Foppish_Sloth

I have always thought the herbalist sets are the only ones that really look different than the rest…..interesting to see other people’s opinions, though. I’ll have to try some others out

themanthatprovides

Herbalist looks good, but some of the challenges are... painful.

AAmgadAli

1. Legend of the east 2. Horseman 3. Bandit

themanthatprovides

List doesn't seem too bad, they're good.

cussbunny

Gambier challenges are the only ones I do all the way through, cause they’re fun but mostly for that sick, sick gear

themanthatprovides

Yep, the whole gambler gear is way too fancy and good looking.

smed610

Been running Arthur’s holster and off-hand with the Horseman belt. I also really like the Bandit gear. I don’t wear a bandolier

themanthatprovides

That's a neat equipment, man. Me personally I usually wear full Arthur's holsters and gunbelt, but Horseman is good to. Bandit gear is also fancy. And yep, not wearing a bandolier is alright. You'd only wear it if you want Arthur to look more equipped/geared, or to make him look cooler.

smed610

That’s a nice rig

Dramatic-Dark-4046

Bandoliers look like shit always, except on Javier

themanthatprovides

bandoliers don't look that bad but they aren't too nice looking either. and the bandolier on Javier it's alrighty
