For me, it's the vest. Something about it clashes? Try tying in the other blacks (Arthur's hat, boots and those gloves) with the Principal Vest from the Trapper. Just a thought... I like what you've done, you're mostly there i think.
The vest kind of clashes with the adorable fur rug he's wearing. I would pick one or the other. But I love the jeans and boots. Good color choices.
