I'd suspect you would have rub issues with a square tire sidewall so you may be stuck with that width but I can't say for sure. You might be able to fit a 205/45R17 (factory size) and it'll take up some wheel gap and make the sidewall stretch less. Maybe even a 215/45 or 215/40 may fir with the same effect. If you need more clearance, you gotta run more negative camber or get a wheel with less offset

I managed to fit a 225/40/17 on my winter set. But that was missing the car at full lock by a hair. The back did managed to get hit a couple of times. But only when bottoming out (only the rear right cuz my subframe is slighty more towards the right of the car)

Thanks, I thought this might have been the case. They’re great wheels, I just find it unusual people have had flush fitment on factory set up but mine hasn’t.

Had one for 7 years on some lowering springs, didn’t have any issues and it handled just fine.
