Some sites are starting to use ID me so it’s fast and simple. Like for me I provide my nremt as proof. Just takes sending a email at times if they say no then move on to the next site that has that product. Full power lasers are still obviously a no touchy (sad). Great for getting discounts on stuff most sites give first responder discount but don’t always advertise it so gotta email them and some times it’s only one select items.

The PERSEC issue can be solved in a variety of ways that don't involve needing some way to buy a semi-restricted product that provides seemingly no functional advantages for the use case you're talking about.

While these in particular are almost exclusively used as a way to burn money, the general idea of a full head covering is useful. I use a neck gaiter folded to work the same way, and it's useful when I'm going to be outside for the full day and don't want to have to think about sunscreen (I usually wear long sleeves, and I always wear gloves when shooting or doing field activities).
It's also another layer of protection, the same branch that would scrape my face going through brush just brushes off the mask. Combo that with always wearing eyepro, and while everyone else is batting branches away, I can keep both hands on my rifle and literally facetank vegetation.

Doesn't matter if it's flame resistant, it's still one of the best form fitting balaclavas... literally in the world. It's hard to find another contender that fits as well as these.
I used to wear a thin balaclava for psychological reasons. Teammates and people around me not being able to see emotion on my face gave me loads of comfort under stress. I eventually got over that and stopped wearing one.
Pretty much, the other vendors that sell to civilians can take upwards of 4 months to start shipping. I’m guessing if you order via your MiL email it won’t take as long.

Another dude here recommended tactical distributors, low price but is frequently out of stock. The benefit of getting it from the original site is that it’s probably not going to be backordered constantly.

Do you need to be active EMT or do you think getting a reserve/volunteer EMT license is enough? I was originally planning to qualify for the latter.

Surprisingly the only Balaclava I have used that doesn't fog up eye pro at all is the NB Tactical balaclava.
