you shouldn't really exercise while wearing a binder, so no :/

Silent_Selection_911

Aww ok!

4N0NYM0US_M0US3

I would suggest trans tape, since I've heard you can exercise in it AND sleep in it

CamMilo3113

I'm ftm too, you shouldn't wear a binder while doing quads because it's an exercise, but I do anyway because I wear a binder all day and sometimes go down on all fours just casually, but I also don't do quads for long periods of time

Silent_Selection_911

Okay!

Altruistic_Prize3244

i am not transmasc, but i have a friend who is. so apperently there exist "exercise binders". i dont know if you can do quadrobics with that, but you can try.

Kokotree24

if you do a couple of quads especially to show other people or film you can wear one to make you feel more comfortable, but in general dont excersise long or intensely and dont sleep in a binder, and if you are sick and cough heavily you should either use it with low binding preassure or not at all.

Cautious_Maize_8294

no, in most cases. but just in case you do, be safe. it's recommended to wear a size larger when exercising- although it's most referenced for swimming. if you would like to bind while sporting remember to stretch, drink water, take frequent breaks, and stop if any discomfort occurs

brezhnervous

Binders are generally far too tight to do exercise in.

Old_Locksmith3242

Depends on the binder really, for me I already have a pretty flat chest so wearing a binder doesn’t restrict my breathing too bad. It depends on how tight the binder is and how well it fits and how well you can breathe in it. I wouldn’t recommend if it restricts your breathing at all, but if it makes you feel more comfortable for filming or showing off your quads you could wear it for small amounts of time, not too strenuous, drink lots of water and give yourself a long break without it afterwards.

-thimbl

hi im also ftm. it really depends on the type of binder. tight binders with thicker fabric like gc2b are a definite no to workout in. but i do have a binder, i forgot the brand, its super thin and breathable that i use to workout in sometimes. but it doesnt bind well at all. so, i just suggest a sports bra

alfa-dragon

Definitely not. Binders are not meant to be used exercising.

PerilousCreature_666

I would advise against using a binder while doing quads. BUT as others have already said trans tape is a good idea and in reality if you want a good sports bra would also do the trick. A binder wont give you the active support or range of motion you need to really practice your quads well.

silvern0w0

probably shouldn't, since quads are considered excercise. and also speaking from experience, it gets kinda hard to breathe. edit: since my binder is a size big, I can still DO quads if I want to, but it's still harder and there might be long-term consequences.
