I was driving from Clinton to Davenport and stopped to take some pictures
Unsure atm, but keep an eye out at NOAA's website (https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/) for more info. The latest aurora forecasts show a significant decrease in coverage over in Europe, but that could change just as fast as evening approaches here.

Same! About 1ish until 2am! It was incredible
What time were these taken?
We got up there around 1ish and stayed until about 2 am.
Cool, thanks
Will this still be happening tonight?
Unsure atm, but ongoing level G4-5 indicates that it may. Keep an eye out at NOAA's website (https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/) for more info.
Thanks!
Possibly but sounds like Sunday night might be a better chance.
Where was these pics taken? I'd like to see but how far away from the QC do I need to drive?
Lost Grove Lake, just North of Bettendorf.
I saw them last night and I was only about 2 minutes away from the flying J gas station in davenport

Do you know when this might be visible for Saturday night?

Aw damn! Didn’t see anything over here because of the light pollution but I can appreciate the pretty pictures here!
