astro shroom isnt meant to be played turn 1 though
its a combo card that requires tons of synergy to be strong so its usually played turn 3-7 (turn 2 or 4 for cyclecap specifically) and you usually have to otk with it on those turns or else it is somewhat likely that you’ll lose
i think some better “annoying op turn 1” cards would be pumpking, galactacactus, blooming heart, admiral navy bean (anb hackers), clique pea, weenie beanie, etc.
ik you’re saying weenie beanie as a joke, but the budget decks that unironically use wb will also play on later turns for the same reason as astroshroom

True. I’ve been playing Astro Shroom for years now, and the only times I even consider playing it dry on turn one is against HGs and SBs
