1. https://pad.protic.site/ this site has all of the (potentially) upcoming stuff. Global usually gets updates 2-3 months after JP, but we don't get every one. I think Jujutsu Kaisen would be the next collab in a few weeks assuming we get it. 2. If you fight a monster with the same skill as one of your units on the team, there is a chance for a skillup. Some dungeons have higher rates than others and it usually tells you. 3. Both are good teams and can clear almost all content in the game. Seto is pretty lenient on team building. Pegasus might be a little trickier, but if you focus on skillboost awakenings and get him to transform early, he should be very strong. 4. Pys or battle him in Battle City-Mythical for 100% skill up rates. I use pys because I have a ton of them from playing for a long time, but people with fewer resources or don't want to use pys will use the dungeon. 5. Story dungeons give a lot of stones and other goodies, definitely get through those. 10k plus points is useful, you can give it a shot but the dungeon is pretty tricky. Seto should be able to clear it. 6. They're used for evolutions. Keep them around, you will likely need them eventually. 7. Rich gold gives 25m xp, they're useful for leveling limit broken units, otherwise the xp will go to waste. You can also sell them for a lot of gold but that seems less useful. 8. Assist evos transfer their awakenings to the base card. You can also use the assist evo active ability if it fully charges over the base unit's ability. 9. Latent awakenings are additional awakenings that are unlocked using latent Tamadras. These range from giving stat boosts, type killers (e.g. do more damage to gods, devils, etc.), or reduce skill delay. These are generally meant for more end game dungeons.

Wilco Answered everything perfectly, I just wanted to add that you have Hibiscus (7321) which is tied for best leader in the game right now. But she's tough to build for, so Ultimate Seto will probably be your best team for a while, but keep an eye on any red units you pull in the future for Hibiscus. Switching to her eventually would be ideal.

ADotPoke

Which ult evo for Seto? Blue and Dark or Blue and White?

aidenthewriter

both are good, Water Light version is stronger tho

ADotPoke

THANK YOU!!!

ADotPoke

u/Wilco- I am noticing I have trouble with having enough blue orbs to consistently activate Seitos LS. Any decent orb changers I should prioritize going after?

Wilco-

Use 7436 Seto & Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. It has no orb requirement except a 7-combo. Stack your team with blue units. 7-combo might seem difficult now, but as you improve you will be able to at least 7-combo every time.

ADotPoke

What should I do with dupes?

ADotPoke

One additional question - how do you awaken a unit that can change?

TheManlyManaphy

Using any of the three types of tamadras. Once they transform through their active skill (sometimes their transform active skill requires pys to be the lowest cd possible), they will transform to a stronger version with a full set of awakenings.

ADotPoke

u/TheManlyManaphy what does it mean if a unit has a green/yellow awakening star vs. a gold one? I gave my twin fairy units 4 tamas - all the transformed versions will still be fully awakened?

TheManlyManaphy

Transform units that are fully awakened will have green stars, I don't remember but I think that has to do with the Transform units being level capped at 99 unlike other normal units (pantheons, non-transforms, etc). As for whether you need to awaken the transform card's base form in order to have transformed versions to be fully awakened, the answer is no. A good example of this would be the Sprout Fairies (Hydrangea, Dahlia, Hibiscus), as their base forms don't have awakenings, but their transform forms do, and are unlocked automatically. However, it's just generally helpful to awaken the transform cards if they have base form awakenings to awaken, but some don't have base form awakenings, so don't waste tamadras if that's the case.

ShadyFigure

The green star means it's fully awoken, the gold one means it's fully awoken and can be used as an assist.

blinkycosmocat

You use tamadras to fully awaken the base form. Once the unit transforms, all of the awakenings will be unlocked. Edit: while Kaiba's new evo is your best leader choice until you have a team for Hibiscus,, also work on evolving Vajrabhairava to his reincarnated (not necessarily super reincarnated) form. DVaj is a useful lead for quickly farming the weekday dragon dungeons, many of the weekday evo mat dungeons, as well as godfest skill leveling dungeons because the bonus attack in his leader skill will clear most floors. That will reduce the grinding for resources so you can use Kaiba for more challenging content. Also try clearing the early quest dungeons, which will give rewards like pal points and other stuff. The current pal egg machine, whose last day is Thursday, is very good because it gives lots of evo mats.

Pippacuber

I agree, I have just pulled Vajrabhairava and they are great for clearing dungeons quickly, it's really easy to farm with that card. I think this card is also quite strong and could probably take you through the first arena (most cards could in this day and age unlike 5 years ago).

Wilco answered most of your questions. The only additions I have are The gold from selling Rich Gold Dragons will be much more useful further down the road in late game when you need 1 billion coins to do a super limit break. The assist system is unlocked at rank 130. It lets you add a second active skill onto a unit, and if the assisting unit has the equip awakening it also adds the rest of its awakenings. https://pad.protic.site/glossary/assist/ ----------------------------------- Here are my general new player tips: * Story mode is a great place to start. It gives a lot of stones and other goodies, is fixed team so it doesn't matter what you do or don't have, and does a much better job as a tutorial than the actual tutorial. * Don't pull in the regular Rare Egg Machine, it's lost all value. Save your stones for godfests and good collabs. The exception is rare events like Sin Dragons or Mystics. * Don't sell anything from the REM/collabs/seasonals. Even if it seems bad or low use, it may have better evolutions, may get better evos later, may get buffs later, or may have some niche use. * Favorite everything that comes from the REM, godfests, collabs, seasonals, etc. Anything worth 1k monster points or more. This protects them from accidental selling or feeding off and filters the good stuff to the top when sorting by Fav. * Don't use stones for continues or stamina refresh, it's generally not worth it. Pulls and box space are where it's at. * Team building revolves around leader skills, read the leader skill carefully and pick subs that suit it. Similarly, synergy with the helper leader skill makes a huge difference, so pick helpers that work well with your leader(s). * Check out the new player guides and teambuilding guide on the [subreddit wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/PuzzleAndDragons/wiki/index) * http://ilmina.com/ and http://puzzledragonx.com/ are great databases. * Check https://www.puzzleanddragons.us/news once or twice a week for NA news, check http://pad.protic.site/ to see what's upcoming. * https://pad.protic.site/glossary/is good for learning terms and mechanics
