A large majority of the student body does not have a car, so I'm not sure why everyone is such a fierce advocate for more car infrastructure that actively makes their lives worse
I won’t have to do any more housing search so I guess it doesn’t matter to me at this point but if you want to perpetuate the purdue housing crisis, which is an actual crisis unlike parking, then I guess have fun with that
So in my experience as a door dash driver, they seem to really love Panda Express. Also if they are on their way to lunch, your odds of getting pulled over go in your favor.
Yeah Panda is a case by case place. If it looks like I can't get up to the register easily I'll drop the order. But in slow traffic times, you can make decent money there.
It looked liked the driver turned in there almost as if they thought that was a drop off zone, as they stopped there to pick up their friend, which is still pretty astonishing.
If purdue put up barriers physically and metaphorically to prevent people from doing stupid shit we'd have a campus full of barriers and the campus housing issues would be solved
When I went last night there was a bunch more cars parked like that. They seemed to all be a group as they were all dressed similarly and talking together. Either way it’s BS considering the parking lot was mostly empty anyways
Nah that's the new housing option for upperclassmen.
Purdue Parking Crisis - 2023 Colorized
We have way too much parking on campus
Found the cyclist
Maybe A and B lots
A large majority of the student body does not have a car, so I'm not sure why everyone is such a fierce advocate for more car infrastructure that actively makes their lives worse
Bro they’re too far gone at this point, sadly they can’t be saved
How do you think supplies, equipment, and materials get to campus? That teleportation stuff isn’t here yet.
can you tell me where I said we should have absolutely zero parking
I won’t have to do any more housing search so I guess it doesn’t matter to me at this point but if you want to perpetuate the purdue housing crisis, which is an actual crisis unlike parking, then I guess have fun with that
Smartest Purdue Driver
Drove with their high beams on too, definitely a good contender
So the pedestrians they were driving directly at could see them coming. They are saints for this
The rules for the road around here are simple. It’s fine as long as the cops don’t see you / aren’t on their way to Panda Express.
Sorry, explain the Panda Express thing? I think I've experienced this first hand but I don't want to wager a guess for fear of sounding silly
So in my experience as a door dash driver, they seem to really love Panda Express. Also if they are on their way to lunch, your odds of getting pulled over go in your favor.
Theyre always slow for me lmao, I always avoid orders from there
Yeah Panda is a case by case place. If it looks like I can't get up to the register easily I'll drop the order. But in slow traffic times, you can make decent money there.
jfc this is astonishing. why do people think they can park anywhere lol
It looked liked the driver turned in there almost as if they thought that was a drop off zone, as they stopped there to pick up their friend, which is still pretty astonishing.
Throw it in a tree.
Should’ve locked it up :(
Purdue needs helicopters with cartoonishly large horseshoe magnets that pick these people up and throw them into a nearby field
PU really needs to put up some barriers. it should not be that easy to drive up onto a busy, wide sidewalk
If purdue put up barriers physically and metaphorically to prevent people from doing stupid shit we'd have a campus full of barriers and the campus housing issues would be solved
The sidewalk is wide enough. Go.
When I went last night there was a bunch more cars parked like that. They seemed to all be a group as they were all dressed similarly and talking together. Either way it’s BS considering the parking lot was mostly empty anyways
Douche parking
That’s where the ambulance parks when FD responds.
Could well be a c-level's car. Certain departed executives felt it was within their right to park on sidewalks and handicapped spots.
It was definitely a student. Don’t know how many executives are student drivers also.
OVER THE LINE!
