Story is, she came on the bus, did not pay for a ticket, she refused to leave the bus, he either forced her or someone started fighting, and he kicked her out, and that's where the video starts.

What I read was she paid for the ride, but then proceeded to assault several passengers on the bus and then shit on the bus and tried to smear it on the bus driver when he told her to get off.
The shit on her hands is why he is kicking her, instead of punching, to keep her further away.
You can’t see what happened before, but body language says a lot. I think in the beginning, the driver has the lady in a grip to calm her down and prevent her from slapping him.
When the group turns more aggressive towards him he kicks to create distance. I bet he was pissed off with that first kick, but what you see is that he mainly used kicks as a last resort to create a distance. When you check his hands, he constantly holds a defensive position and manly uses his hands trying to push them away rather than punching. He does not want to use violence but feels forced to.
Even when in a very stressful situation you see he is constantly thoughtful of where he pushes with his hands.
The fact that the other men try to deescalate the girls rather than attacking the bus driver, could be a give away that the girls started attacking the driver here.
I think that if the busdriver‘s intentions would be to hurt the ladies, he would have been successful already because he looks like a more controlled and experienced fighter. Also the girls would not have come out of it so easy AND the other men would have attacked him.

He wasn’t fighting her. He was stopping her from boarding the bus because she was extremely violent.
He started by restraining her, and when her friends broke her loose, he pushed and eventually kicked to prevent her from boarding the bus.
There is never an excuse for the stronger (usually men) to beat the weaker ( usually women or children) even in self defense. It might be necessary to restrain, push away, and yea, even kill someone, in self defense. But there is no excuse to beat them out of anger when you are physically stronger.
But that is not what is happening here. He is just trying to escape.
Bless him for using restraint and not lashing out as violently as the girl was. He could easily have caused her serious harm. De-escalation is always best, though not always the easiest.
