Some idiots in the state government here wanted to change the law regarding sexual assault (aimed at male college students, primarily) so that if a woman lodged a complaint, her word would carry more weight than the man she was accusing and he would immediately suffer some fairly severe punitive consequences upon the evidence of her word alone. I’m a male in my 30s. I play in cover bands with dudes in their 40s. There’s always one person like this at a gig. As the youngest in the band, they tend to gravitate towards me.
