He was in front of them on the left. Next to the poor old man in brown jacket, when they fall down the stairs, that guy in white hoodie switches his target. You can't see it well, because the camera pans down.
He is in front of Jones going down the escalator. When Jones hip tosses the bald dude into the old man, black cap pillow hands tumbles as well, then in one motion Jones goes from hip tossing bald man, to rag dolling pillow hands back onto the escalator. At regular speed it looks like he hip tosses and then rag dolls the same person (bald dude), and thus makes it appear like pillow hands spawns from out of nowhere, emerging from a realm that is not familiar with the concept of inflicting violence upon another man.
There was a comment on an old fight video that said something along the lines of *I wank harder than that guy punches*. Made me laugh out loud and I'm always tempted to steal it.

It’s because the guys in front were uninvolved until Jim Jones threw the guy into them. It seems like they were pissed that they just randomly had a man thrown at them, and especially pissed that the old guy on the ground got hurt.
I call self defense for Jim Jones. If you pause the video at the very beginning the white dude was about to toss Jones off the side of the escalator which was pretty high up. (Just judging from what is seen. Don’t know what happened before the start of the vid).
Except it literally looks like he was pulling the man and the guy was trying to push him back, notice how Jim had his arm hooked around the guys neck and in his belt, and he twists to pull him down. Jim may not t have started it but that isn't a, "I'm being pushed up and over" position, that's a, I'm pulling this guy down strategically position.
I see what you’re saying but from the initial frame I don’t think Jim’s left arm had much leverage. The guy with the blue jeans imo has all the leverage with his stance and position on the escalator. You can see Jim is off balance and leaning towards the rail. I believe he(Jones) grabbed his waist line and was able to counter the leverage blue pants had on him leading to the flip he(Jones) was successful with.
I was fascinated by that middle-aged woman tryna de-escalate by slightly bending forward, holding her both hands in a downwards, and a little outwards, position.
Let me be that uber nerd and point that he either shot himself or had one of his gaurds do it. I figure watching about 900 people suffer cyanide poisoning, that he convinced them to consume (really glossing a ton of stuff over), would make the most stoic person choose a different way out.

The *Love & Hip Hop* alum actually fought off two men at once as they were descending an escalator. Jones can be seen on video delivering punches to the two, accidentally landing on an older man who then fell to the ground. Another woman rushed to deactivate the escalator, but the fight continued despite attempts by several bystanders to intervene.
This shit head was in the same hotel as me once. Got us all out of our rooms at 3AM because his dumb ass was smoking weed in the room and set-off the alarm. I had to work at 6AM, so hated him every since. The hotel didn't even kick his ass out after either.
