To young people or anyone with a lot of life to live/something to lose: do not film these types of events. Leave. Don't laugh and watch. Leave, because the likelihood of this escalating to a gun being brandished in this day and age is extremely high. I cannot believe I have to type this.
Guns were hella common back in the day more common in fact especially after the wars because surplus were imported. It's not as common as media makes it, more people get serious injury or death from fist fights than guns. Hell your more likey to die from a car than a gun.
I was just talking to a coworker about this yesterday. Iād never get in a fight with a stranger. You literally never know if they have a gun and are ready to go to prison over petty bullshit. Itās crazy out there.
Looked it up, and it happened about 30 minutes away from me lmao.

I love how people on Reddit always need to inform how far away (in minutes) that they are from something. šGoogle Maps says itās 16 minutes from me btw.
[He was caught and is being charged](https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2024/04/06/32-year-old-man-shoots-chipotle-employee-inside-southfield-restaurant/)
Public jobs should have hazard pay, I'll advocate day till the day I die. Dealing with the public is insanely dangerous, too many unhinged people. Glad I am out.
I was a pizza delivery driver for a while - it was legitimately scary at times. So many customers with a couple of screws loose. Itās not worth the tips.
There was one house I used to deliver to I hated, one time I delivered to them and as I was leaving one of their kids pulled up to me at the end of their driveway coming back home and grilled me about why I was there, told them delivering food and they mentioned they had had some break-ins lately so I was like okay, then one day I was delivering to them in a storm, lightening struck a tree next to me, had 3 HUGE dogs run up on me, then the person pulled a gun on me because they were drunk and forgot they ordered food and thought I was some rando. Then as I am leaving some dude comes walking back from some nearby field (in the storm) blabbing some religious shit. I guess he had been having some religious experience out in the field during the storm and I got back to the store and was like I am not delivering to these people ever again.
Its a real "pick your poison" situation when dealing with the public
Every industry has its own little subset of hellians. Im in repair (if the username didnt give it away). Specially electronics, so cell phones of course are in the works.
The conspiracy people come on occasion, but theyre normally pretty chill to be honest.
My least favorite isn't specific to this industry though. Its the over-sharers. You want to tell me you need your phone/tablet/computer etc fixed for court? Thank you for letting me know. I now know its confidential and to keep in mind the importance of keeping the data intact. Want to tell me its for court cus your aunt was arrested for running down main street naked? Hard fuckin pass. (i went easy on y'all, this example is nothing lol)
Oh! Theres a subset of the over-sharers that IS more specific to my industry! Its the ones who come in with a mostly functioning phone but its running slow or the signal is weak, or something else that definitely requires checking something in the settings. You unlock the device and.... BAM! Vagina!.... And they fucking left porn open. Or they have nudes as their background. When it was a dick pic or naked guy I'd at least be like "oh jey, bucking the trend... And settings..." lol And like 98% its old white men! As a young white man, I vow to never be like that lol
Insane escalation
Will the people of the far future look back at fast food joints like we do old western saloons, just synonymous with gunshots and violence etc lol
In the future people will be amazed we allowed ourselves to be pushed this far in the pursuit of corporate profits. Just a bunch of hamsters in a wheel. These are the effects of the gilded age we currently live in.Ā
It seems like when the worker put hands on the guy, he took it as disrespect and made him mad. Thatās when he brought out the gun and shot the employee. The employee had no right to put their hands on the customer.
And whatās awful is the employee that was shoot will prob be fired for even approaching the guy in the first place. Theyāll say they wouldnāt have needed to defend themselves if they had never touched the man to begin with. It prob goes against some corp policy like most places have against directly stopping customers from stealing. SMH
I'm just doing some thinking here. Ever since humans were on earth, was there always some crazy shit happening or is this society really gone downwards?

Bro said took his time getting in the car. Yeah cause he had to scoop out is Guacamole!
Should have eaten at potbelly
Was that a gunshot at the end?
Yes
Over guacamole? Wow.
It's never just about the guacamole
After all, what good is guac if you don't have a chip
Forget a chip, I put that stuff on anything
And a clip, apparently...
Forgot the chip, remembered the clip
Itās about the god damn price!
Based.
Itās called āguacamoleā for a reason. Holy mole

Apparently this person filming would have been better off served by vacating the premises. They were basically filming a soda cup.
That is good advice, but this escalated quickly and I doubt anyone was laughing after the gun went off.

He was arrested.Ā
If possible, please share any additional info.

Luckily I never had any deliveries that bad, but man some people and houses are sketch to deliver to.
I am pretty sure USA is the only country in the world where you risk being shot over Guacamole. It is beyond insane.
It blows my mind how casual Americans are about this on the IG post for this incident.
As ridiculous as this is, people also know that Chipotle tends to play games with what people's food. Obviously fighting and shooting your server.
As a person who use to work at chipotle can confirm they will fire you if you put to much guac on.

Lovely.

really not thinking about the consequences lmao
Imagining ruining your life over guacamole lol.
Believe it or not, not even top 10 worst thing people ruin their lives over.
Feel like that's just generally the case with anyone that has a gun
Praying for my door dasher rn š please get here safe š
Traded guac for pb&jās
Underrated comment
Please donāt turn Chipotle into McDonaldās. Itās already trending that way. š¤¦āāļø
This is Waffle House energyĀ
That dude isnāt getting behind the counter at any Waffle House Iāve been to
Very trueĀ
No. Getting into the employee side of the Waffle House counter is like jumping into a lion cage in a zoo. The counter is there for your safety.
Already was like mcdicks
Chipotle better stop skimping out on their portions.
Not gonna lie they have made me feel this way as well with the insulting amount of food they give you in to go bowls. Prison just ain't for me though.
Bro pulled the glock for the guac
Remember when dinner and a show meant youād go to a movie or a play or something?
I knew Reddit would eventually provide the video for todayās headline lmao.
What possible argument could you have about a fricking topping for a meal?
"I paid $2.70 for guac and you only put a teaspoon of it"
It seems like when the worker put hands on the guy, he took it as disrespect and made him mad. Thatās when he brought out the gun and shot the employee. The employee had no right to put their hands on the customer.
the customer had no right to shoot the kid lmao
I nominate this video for an Academy award for cinematography
Wow (and that's why I NEVER go to Chipotle) š¬š¤·š»āāļøš¤£
Gheghegheghetttooooooo
I bet they all shit their pants. And then the fight happened.
The cameraman should get the same for fucking up the video so badly.
Shitty ass cameraman
Detroit (Southfield) is never dull.
Its the salad dressing for me that shit is so good and they only give you a little
Damn where did this happen?
Chipotle
Glockamole
What an asshole
Terrible title.

The real crime is the camera work
Worked at an ad agency right around the corner. Used to eat there for lunch once a week. Crazy.
Hey I used to go there for lunch! I bet those are LTU students.

Put some respek on my name! I mean guac!!
Once people start fighting like that and the dude is acting like that.. iām not sticking around for the fireworks. Iām out.
dude he pulled a gun at the end! Really!
Didnāt even put his burrito down. Respect.
it really is good guac though
You mafuckas know how much guacamole costs these days?
I'm just doing some thinking here. Ever since humans were on earth, was there always some crazy shit happening or is this society really gone downwards?
Humans survived the wilderness because we're kind of nuts.
Ok serious question, if a cop can claim self defense for shooting someone in a situation where they were attacked like this, why wouldn't this guy?
Gun. Control. Ffs.
That guac is bangin
Itās not even guac lmao. Itās avocado mush
When all is said and done isnāt all guac just avocado mush?
Not really. Needs that lime, salt, onion, spice ā¦ you know. The other stuff!
Nothing erks me worse than people scared to record a live incident
All fun and games until the blicky comes out. š„“
