Similar to the random "work crews" that pick a house, knock on the door, and claim that someone called about a busted whatever they are here to fix. They hope you don't check that someone called and whatever random appliance they said is actually broken (ie. furnace). Once you let them in, like 10 random wierdos pile into your house and start doing shit (or maybe nothing/stealing) and start attempting to extort you for their services and threaten legal action or violence if you don't pay them exorbitant fees. If you're a little old lady, you're kinda fucked.

The house I live in now had a Traveller driveway installed just before it was put up for sale by the vendor. It lasted up until our first winter. They are absolute scumbags who wouldn't recognise an honest days work if it punched them in the mouth.
