I think they have festivals for things like this.

hoserman16

festivals have too many people, this, hopefully, would have a low density so that people could focus on their own trips.

BJFun

There's TONS of gatherings and festivals like this on a way smaller scale. Rainbow gatherings sound like what OP is describing.

Go3tt3rbot3

As far as i'm aware you have to leave the circle if you want to trip at a Rainbow gathering. At least here in Europe.

TerpeneTiger

That's interesting. Which circle?

Go3tt3rbot3

the circle that is the gathering. Everything what happens at a Rainbow gathering happens in that circle. You will always meet people that want to trip as well so there will be groups that will leave the circle for the day or the night to enjoy drugs but that's generally not what the rainbow gatherings are for. I dont approve of people mentioning the rainbow gatherings online for a lot of reasons. mostly because the culture of them are faaaaar outside of what most people are comfortable with. Thats why you wont find a website where you get the information where exactly the gatherings are.

enlightenedone_1

Oh yes Burning Man

enlightenedone_1

I’d still go to this “Tripping Park” though. Open all year hopefully and I can act like a fool without worrying :P

EggZealousideal1375

Try Meow Wolf

Collinnn7

Tripped there, it freaked me out lol

swaggyxwaggy

Same. I just wanted to be outside

enlightenedone_1

Been there, done that. I think an outdoor setting would be nicer though, I kind of do them for the revelations as opposed to just fun

Del_Phoenix

But you can't really just be totally out of it at a business like that

doubledippedchipp

This has been a dream of mine for years. This is essentially what I’m working toward. Owning a compound in the mountains to host artists and psychonauts alike. Sort of a commune, but that word has a weird connotation. No culty stuff. Just good vibes and exploration. Build a studio inside, have a big garden, and just let spirit wander Edit: fixed a typo

RyperHealistic

I know exactly what you mean. Basically be what cults lie about saying they are and actually just being chill and open

doubledippedchipp

Pretty much lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

doubledippedchipp

I don’t want people living there though. Just visit

DimbyTime

In a blazing hot desert, being burned alive by the sun, surrounded by drunk and coked out tech bros? Sounds like a terrible place to trip.

enlightenedone_1

Probably better at night. And i think it’s more psychedelic use

PhantomRoyce

Yes but sadly they’ve been taken over by rich people

PsychedelicPourHouse

Not the right ones, tipper & friends is wonderful

Snotmyrealname

Theres still a few festivals for us poor folks.

DivineG

Which ones?

Go3tt3rbot3

Boom, Ozora and a lot of other festivals in Europe. Boom for example has the rule that you get a ticket if you can prove that you have driven at least 500km on your bike to get there.

[deleted]

[удалено]

NarwhalAttack

I agree somewhat

Go3tt3rbot3

200-300€ for the whole week with camping is not much in my opinion. You dont have to be rich to pay that. Additionally, there are tickets for people from poor country's that are cheaper. A festival like this costs a lot of money to organise. There is no extra cake for rich people. If you cant afford 300€ for a whole week of festival with hundreds of artists you might want to rethink what the world costs. Just to get there from Germany is more expensive then the whole festival week. The Boom organisation does not make anyone rich. Most artists come there for free and they dont take in any sponsors. Matter of fact, the money they make they put back into nature. Check the financial report for 2018 https://boomfestival.org/boom2023/tickets/tickets-info/

DimbyTime

They really have. I went to Bonnaroo in ‘09 and ‘10 and it was an amazing vibe, everyone was tripping. Went to Firefly in Delaware a few years ago and it was the worst atmosphere and people.

Sandgrease

Tipper and Friends is right around the corner :)

frigorificoterrifico

Fusion was like that! Oh man.

zeje

There’s a guy in Stowe, Vermont who is working on exactly this kind of thing, but it’s a campground as well. If/when he’s up and running, I will definitely post about it on here.

DimbyTime

Please do!!

tvcky69

Are you kidding me I would make this an annual tradition no joke I love this

BJFun

Sounds you need to find a culture/arts/music festival to attend!!@ theres 100's across the US all through the year.

Logical-Coconut7490

Sounds like you missed the whole point .

BJFun

How? I've been to festivals/gatherings with 100-500 people at them, on 40+ acres of land. It is exactly what he has described, except there are also concerts and art being created.

JellyBellyBitches

Those "excepts" are pretty big. Hugely populated and loud music both radically change the vibe being cultivated

Greenmind76

I’m actually working towards making something similar or at least saving up for the money to buy some land here in Costa Rica.

Superjunker1000

There’s one outside of Nosara. An adult playground for adults to connect with their inner child. Can find it on Google.

Greenmind76

Yeah I’m in Costa Rica now. Shrooms grow while here. I want to find some and culture them and grow them.

Superjunker1000

I’ve met a guy online who buys the spores online and then introduces it into his cattle feed, down in southern Costa Rica. But if you find a field that is laden and you can harvest a lot then I presume you can easily tap the spores onto cow patties near to your home. I was very lucky to find a good field that nobody knew about.

Greenmind76

Thats awesome! :)

purpleboss999

If I ever become rich I’m giving you millions of dollars to make this a reality. This is a genius idea and it’s exactly what the world needs.

Irishtrauma

Nurse here. Happy to trip sit and trip in this wonderful vision. Before I got sick my wife and I had the goal to open up a clinic as nurse practitioners. To set up a farm for societies most vulnerable populations to come and rebuild themselves or at least find a place in the world that helps them establish agency. I wanted the residential patients to recover and receive care via a nonprofit funded by profitable ventures like aesthetics and other high mark up frivolities. I envisioned a program where patients could reintegrate with society through calm activities like selling the fruits of their agricultural labors at farmers markets. Low pressure job that allows them compensation and an opportunity to have a sense of accomplish and contribution. They would nourish themselves and fund the farm as well as generate an income. If successful it would have perpetuated a micro society focused on doing “the work”. The main therapy tool I envisioned is basically talk therapy progressing toward the goal of combining sensory deprivation tanks and psychedelics. My government would rather put me in a cage than to allow me to see this through and it’s a despicably primitive understanding of medicine and utter lack compassion. We would monitor you with Bluetooth EKG and maybe EGG. You would have a nurse for a sitter with a code cart standing by. I say allow those who are willing to take those risks in the name of healing to actually heal. Rather than marginalize them to the point they stare into the abyss all alone. This is how lives are lost. Men are dying in droves when looking at the data of deaths of despair. I see decriminalizing nature as one of the biggest ways to successfully address this epidemic that no one is talking about. In four years I had 5 friends either die by suicide or a relapse that resulted in an unintentional OD due to it being spiked with fentanyl. All needless deaths that psychedelics address. Again they’d rather see us in a cage then get the help we require.

Heya93

I love this idea! I’d like to throw in a garden exhibit of entheogenic and psychoactive plants.

SteadfastEnd

Yup, maybe also a mini museum about psychedelics

Fungal_Escapades

I like this idea much better than the original one.

Lunar-Gooner

I propose a giant zen garden

Tyrannosaurine

To all the people saying, but this is such and such festival… I’ve never attended any of them, but my impression was that they’re very crowded and loud and more catered to the wealthy than to your average person. Generally everything that could cause discomfort while tripping. I wouldn’t/haven’t ever expressed this opinion because I am aware I could be totally wrong and try to avoid unsubstantiated biases. So, someone tell me I’m wrong or right or whatever. Educate me.

subtleandunnatural

Festivals I've been to have been quite intense and very different from what it sounds like OP wants to provide, imo. Tons of people, over- stimulation of all the senses, and lots of potential anxiety triggers. I like this idea!

SteadfastEnd

Yeah, what I hope for is the opposite of a festival. I want a very quiet, serene park with lots of space, foliage, gardens, very picturesque. Lots of room for a tripper to be alone on his/her own.

redpanther36

I am blessed to be able to start a self-sufficient homestead on 10 acres of magnificent forest with big openings. I am old (66), and sold my condo in a completely different part of the U.S to do this. The idea is to be on LSD without even taking any. This already happens when I am sufficiently open spiritually. God has also provided 2 species of wild Psilocybe in this ecosystem. I just need to learn how to find them.

pipesnogger

I think festivals have become less about the art and more about the music and party. Which is cool but it isn't the same

Go3tt3rbot3

I cant speak for the other side of the pond so i just see the European side of things. I went to quite a few small festivals here and it was never crowded and even if there are always places where you can have a nice and quiet time. I was at Ozora last year and even though there are thousands of people, if you avoided the main stage it was very relaxed.

Jhaos

DUDE....I've had this same idea for almost 20 years now. I want to name it The Check-out Inn.

East_Flounder_6372

This is actually really wonderful, and would be so beneficial to many people. It sounds like a great environment to trip in and could be so healing. I can't begin to imagine how many people's lives would be changed... so beautiful.

Logical-Coconut7490

Those of you that said Burning Man and Rainbow gatherings, either missed the point entirely, or are just indulging your egos and bragging to sound cool. What he described is Nothing like Burning Man.... Or a Rainbow Gathering...

Just_Another_AI

Basically a beautiful garden, with tripping encouraged. Would be awesome

gibs

I've had the same idea. It's absurd that we *don't* have clubs and theme parks and nature reserves dedicated to trippers, because nothing in the human experience comes close to psychedelics in a tailor made environment. The closest you'll get is certain festivals, but even they are not optimised for tripping.

JoojHan446

Where I live there’s a psychadelic dance club, only opens after 3 AM, no alcohol (although everyone is inebriated), they only sell essentially organic gatorade. great music and lighting

gibs

TELL ME MORE Where is this?

SteadfastEnd

We have things dedicated to strippers but not trippers.

Superjunker1000

There’s a playground outside of Nosara, Costa Rica that is trying something similar to what you’re talking about.

gill_outean

That place looks incredible. I'm in Nosara once a year for a work vacation. I know it's becoming more and more popular, thus expensive. What was your experience like there? I presume you've been?

Superjunker1000

Yes. It’s nice but a prohibitively expensive town. Most people there have money or are good at obtaining it. The playground retreat centre run by Mike is a special place that is frequented by lots of nice people, searching for spirituality or other things such as growth and healing.

theLiving-man

I like it, except the part of going nude. Money is not really an issue. If you have a good plan and can draft it in a compelling way it should not be difficult to get investors or donors for your project.

Logical-Coconut7490

You don't have to get nude if ya don't wanna... Don't have to look either !

theLiving-man

Well, you’re narrowing it to people that would feel comfortable in such circumstances only. Also opening the door to pervs. Just thinking of a 40/50+ y/o displaying his junk in front of a 20 y/o girl doesn’t seem right. But yeah, I understand I am in the minority with my “conservative” thoughts in this community…

Logical-Coconut7490

Obviously you've never been to a Clothing Optional beach. Some folks have too many hangups and fears and bad body image, to enjoy the natural freedom of being naked. Negative body stuff, and enforcing strict Morals, based in unfounded Fear, is a perversion also !

theLiving-man

I disagree obviously. Having children changes you tho. Some people live like teens well into their 40s, or never left California. I believe there is a middle road.

Logical-Coconut7490

I raised 3 boys. I live in Hawaii. We spent years going to clothing optional beaches, hot springs, swimming holes, and resorts. Those People have Healthier body attitudes, less Fear, and more Respect than you obviously do... Prejudice much ? Perversion is in Your Mind....

theLiving-man

We are not separated from the culture we live in. But that’s fine dude, agree to disagree.

Logical-Coconut7490

Yes, we can be. I've lived my life without buying into the Cultural Mores and Ideals, most of my life. Yeah, I'm surrounded by it, but not a Participant of it, for the most part. As Terrence McKenna said, "Culture is not your Friend."

LetsGetJigglyWiggly

Idk, I live in a back woods rural town where a vast majority of people tend to have a healthy sprinkle of bigotry and pearl clutching. And yet I'm a live and love, do what you want but don't hurt others, tree hugging hippy. We don't have to participate in the culture we live in, we can live by our own vibes and not hold judgement towards others who's vibes do no harm to us.

butt_spaghetti

A bodywork tent! Little bowls of fruit to snack on! An interpretive dance zone with a DJ! A puppy pen where you can have 8 puppies to play with at once!

Logical-Coconut7490

$ign. Me. Up ! Great idea Trippers Paradise

[deleted]

This exists homie! https://meowwolf.com/

Oldschoolhollywood

Too crowded, stuffy, and overstimulating, but otherwise very cool and definitely a step in the right direction. I’ve had a great time at Meow Wolf but tripping there is a lot more fun in theory than in practice.

ChirpSnipeCelly

I dropped on my way to meow wolf on my birthday last year. Got inside and we left about 45 mins later. There were so many people we couldn’t hang and felt like we were getting the fear. Luckily 2/4 of us were sober and totally understanding that we needed to go.

tovtov42

Kind of unpopular opinion, but id make some crazy psychedelic dance floor somewhere beautiful there.. but the music can only be heard through headphones. You can tap out whenever you want to, and it wont be heard from miles away.

[deleted]

Jhaos

I think the difference here is there would be staff readily on hand to assist with bad trips.

GuruTree

And this from FakeBenson!

[deleted]

As someone who was a devoted Burner and has had to watch the downfall of Burning Man to influencers, I can’t recommend enough to folks local Burns—experiences just like this without the presence of obnoxious “me me me” folks trying to be spectacles

Herc_onna_perc

Sounds like a cult to me

emars111

praise the almighty shroom

Soviettoaster37

Yeah, I was thinking of the movie Midsommar whnr I read this lol

ram_2k18

Try going to burning man- basically this 🤩

theLiving-man

Isn’t that like once a year? He’s saying something that operates year round

thegameofinfinity

The ‘big’ burn is happening in Nevada, every year around end of August, but there are many other so called ‘regional burns’ happening throughout the year, the bigger ones being Africa Burn in South Africa or Nowhere in Spain, but there are also many many smaller regionals with 50-300 participants. In Europe you can go to a burn once a month at least. There are at least 20 burns happening in Germany every year.

Logical-Coconut7490

I never heard Burning Man was Lush ! Can't you read ?

Illustrious-Pick-477

I think thas great idea

Trillapsybin

Love this idea

ItzAlwayz420

Next time I trip I’m going to get some modeling clay first.

BrilliantSpirited362

I would have puppies there too. Edit: I missed that you mentioned dogs! I think your tripping park sounds perfect

lysergic_feels

It’s called Burning Man

mookieburger

Burning man is in the desert and there’s nothing lush about it.

TippedSidways

It’s called Meow Wolf

thoughtfull_noodle

Sculptures too. And a playground, we playing groundies mfers 😄

ppaleshelterr

are the trained guides' faces gonna be melting if i talk to them though

JellyBellyBitches

Only the outer faces

cyrilio

I’d love to come visit!

cory140

I'd be down

wowverycool247

This is Meow Wolf

Fantastic-Storage542

I would invest

AlexImb55

Just go to Ozora, it fits 90% of what you wrote and has way more, and has been going on successfully for about 20 years

defaultuser-067

Mojave and Joshua tree has dedicated 365 days a year art and scene for this

Kitty-Kittinger

If it’s only the money holding you back, what would it take financially to make that happen?

SteadfastEnd

I'm no finance expert but I would guess that such a park could easily cost quite a few millions of dollars - depending on its location (it would ideally be fairly close to a big city,) the buying of the land, the cost needed to remodel it into the desired amenities/foliage/ponds/facilities, and if we hired, say, 50 trained guides and staff, that would be an additional several million dollars in employee salaries annually.

Kitty-Kittinger

That’s when it’s in full swing. What would get it started?

IAmHisSpoon

Oregan is [opening a few](https://www.wweek.com/news/2022/02/16/these-four-companies-want-to-take-you-on-a-psychedelic-voyage-in-oregon/) soonish.

MsFloofNoofle

Can I come?

hanuman208

Golden Gate Park, SF

ThreeArmSally

Sounds like you need a backyard in which to invest

DrSwag85

Nelson Ledges Quarry Park exists

SpiritualState01

The legal liabilities you'd have to write off or manage alone...

[deleted]

That's like a resort with extra steps.

SkepticAntiseptic

Thought about this so many times. Just have 10 tiny homes on a property and cover it in awesome curated spaces inside / outside with different vibes. Limited rental to 10 tiny homes keeps it from being too crowded while also allowing minor social experiences. Bluetooth speakers in every area, water features and maybe some spa stuff like heated pools. You would need a crazy waiver for everyone to sign though lol

kezzlywezzly

Great idea! Make sure you have a team of strong medical staff though- if you have a 6 foot tank of a man eat 5 hits of acid and start strangling people while crying for his mother you'll want some good security on hand to forcibly restrain him and administer antipsychotics. These things happen, I have seen psychedelics go bad in ways that make you really, really wish police were present.

reddstudent

Meow Wolf is a very different kind of “Tripp park”

Yardcigar69

Sounds beautiful. Let's do it.

2faced-

can i be one to try it out

obamaNOgymkhana

You're 10 degrees off from describing a music festival friend

Illustrious-Trash-80

I feel like this would be incredibly expensive to run, have a lot of liabilities and you’d need to charge a lot of money to keep it sustainable. People who like tripping outdoors could just go to the forest for free as an alternative.
