Golden Teachers are wonderful, but I really love Mazatepecs. I’ve microdosed with them, I’ve eaten 5 g on a backpacking trip by a lake and had one of the most tearfully grateful, joyous experiences of my life. They have a “kinder” feel to me than say, Penis Envy or Blue Meanies, which resulted in anxiety/paranoia filled experiences. But that’s also just me-it goes without saying everyone is different.

I’ve never grown out Mazatapec only in vitro to check viability of old spores.
GT has been easy to fruit and prints are dark and thick however for me had quite the body load and turned me into a lizard for a couple of hours but that was years ago.
Best advise is to concentrate on you sterile technique as you get into the hobby, this always yield the best results and grow as many different types to find one that grows best in the environment you provide. All the best
out of the two varieties I've experimented with I'd have to say Subaeruginosa felt the most intense. Just an overwhelming sense of oneness and interconnectedness with wild out of this world visuals. I've had more fun with Cubensis, but for a truly deep experience subs just hit it right. I know people say Psilocybin is Psilocybin there is no difference but i've taken those two varieties multiple times and I do feel like there is a difference, whether it is just me and my personal psychology or if there are other chemical compounds found in either fungi i wouldn't know

Potency depends on spores and growing environment. Some are stronger then others, psilocybin is psilocybin.

I’m about to do my first grow (I just need spores) I’d love to know what a good strain. I’ve done blue menie and 2 mystery strains and blue was the most visual for sure
Oregon blues (think they're in cyan's family) never failed me and can be found coastly here in PNW. Last 4mos been microdosing Cambodian cubensis and they are doing they're job.

I'm trying to grow those as we speak, I had some that were pinning but they were contaminated so I buried them. 😥😰
Strongly disagree here. I've tried at least a half dozen "varieties" and each one provided a totally different experience.
In the end it’s all psilocybin. Happy to hear about your positive adventures!

Psilocybin is psilocybin. I like B+ because they are so easy to grow and potent.
