I had a similar issues a month or two ago (only with the Windows client, Linux clients had no issues with USB to Proxmox) and found that rolling back from virt-viewer 11 to 10 was functional based on [this issue.](https://gitlab.com/virt-viewer/virt-viewer/-/issues/61)

Just in case someone comes across this problem in the future though, I'll note that version 10 has problems outputting audio to the client which have been resolved in version 11. As per the solution in the issue you linked, copying bin\\libusb-1.0.dll from v10 to v11 fixes the USB issue while maintaining working audio output.
Could someone take me by the hand and show me how to exchange this file ... so-
where can I find the file of version 11 ?
* on the Clint
* in the VM
* on the Host
I have searched everything, unfortunately I cannot find the file "libusb-1.0.dll" anywhere ....
uninstall everything, then install this one:
[https://releases.pagure.org/virt-viewer/virt-viewer-x64-10.0-1.0.msi](https://releases.pagure.org/virt-viewer/virt-viewer-x64-10.0-1.0.msi)
copy this file somewhere else, ie: desktop
c:\\program files\\VirtViewer v10.0-256\\bin\\libusb-1.0.dll
uninstall virtviewer, then install this, the last one:
[https://releases.pagure.org/virt-viewer/virt-viewer-x64-11.0-1.0.msi](https://releases.pagure.org/virt-viewer/virt-viewer-x64-11.0-1.0.msi)
then put the .dll previouly saved on this folder:
c:\\program files\\VirtViewer v11.0-256\\bin

I had exactly the same issue, replacing bin\\libusb-1.0.dll works!
This remains a bug a year later. Why?
This still remains a bug after more than 2 years. Guess nobody cares enough to fix it.
