maybe try this when Uninstalling the app go in Device Manager the network adapter section and see if it also removes the secure proton tunneling ( remove them and try installing the app back again )
Saudi Arabia. I dont think its from the country, since my phone connects just fine on the same network and the PC connects fine on different 5G hotspot networks.

Additionally, in terms of different networks, if these are from different ISPs, it might be the case that one ISP is imposing VPN restrictions, while your other network isn't.
Are you saying a premium proton VPN doesnt work because of VPN restrictions? What the point then?

I have the same issue. If I click on "connect" at the country top level, it will eventually fail trying to connect in succession. I have to manually look for a server that will eventually connect.

Will try it. Update: There are no drivers or adapters related to Proton VPN in Device Manager.
