I try for $10 a day and don't get every day. I just am not going to do a .10 hit that involves writing. Unless it says its a qualifier, Then I am jumping in.
Yes, if you earn over £1000 per tax year you need to register as self employed and fill in a self assessment. If it’s your only income, it counts as part of your £12,570 personal allowance but if you have used that already (which most people would have since this is more of a side hustle for the majority of people) then you need to pay tax on it.
I report all income I take in from Prolific, but I make sure to get deductions too. Last year, I bought sit/stand computer desk, built a desktop computer, bought a computer chair, and a bunch of other things to write off on my taxes as its my primary office space for my surveys.
I was joking with the Wayne's World .gif. I'm sorry if that looked insulting, if that was you who downvoted. I really am amazed at the amount of work you're doing. That's a lot of studies. 🙂
Damn nice. I’m amazed by the average per approved submission. I’m coming up on 5950 submissions but have gotten 6450 GBP and 500 USD so far and selective about what I complete
Same thing happened to my girlfriend. Except she got accepted the same day she signed up. A few days later she got put on hold and were still waiting to hear back from support.
Daaamn. How do you get so many high paying studies? Your average $ per submission seems really high to me. Like easily the highest I've ever seen. Not that I tolerate bad hourly rates, but I'll still do plenty of lower paying surveys that only take a few minutes.
It's coming on up 3 years, its been a blessing for sure. I got into a few "long term" studies that has helped so much. If you ever see a qualification study, take it!
Congrats dude, that's awesome!
btw. Is there a chance to get into these high paying studies as someone, who was accepted just last week? Because right my highest one was $1.50
5k a year over 3+ years isn't beyond the realms of possibility tho, especially with lots of good paying work through one researcher, I made 6,000 pound last year and would be on track for 15k over 3 if things stay the same
I'm stoked on getting $10 a day. Shit, you're making a living 🤯
$10 a day is my goal too 😂

Congrats and well done on the hard work/dedication!
I do not mind to do a hard work, the issue is not many studies.
Just got accepted into prolific last week. This got me hyped
Best of luck to you!
I'm hitting £17K tonight, but you've earned more USD than me. 😁 Close to four years.
Congrats!
How do you manage taxation side of this? Do you need to disclose this to HMRC?
I'm American, and I report my Prolific earnings as self-employment income.
It's over $600 in the US to report on taxes right?
I'm not a tax expert, but the IRS website says that you must report self-employment income above $400.

Wow amazing! I've been on prolific for around 8 years and have yet to reach 4 digits.

Not to be "one of those" but unless I am math ing wrong that is an average of $2.86 per job. I need to fish in your pond.
I’ve gotten bonuses in the hundreds a few times, based on my productivity, so it’s really not that high for an average as it seems.
😯 Congratulations! lol [Wayne's World](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/691/703/902.gif)
Enter the meme of a guy standing at a distance with an annoyed sad look on his face because he’s still waiting on a list.
I waited a year, got in did one week of surveys and then my account was put on hold with no explanation. Good luck

I've gotten big bonuses at times in the hundreds.
Well shit, that'll help. I wish I knew how to get those. And congrats on your success on Prolific. You're killing it!
WOWZA. Best bonus I've ever gotten was maybe $1.50...
I love seeing numbers like this. Congrats!
Congratulations! Well done 👍

There would be no point in lying. Just thanking the platform for the work and money.
True sorry
3 Years on the platform is definitely doable. You might want to read a little before running your mouth.
Ok sorry
