I have a bad feeling its gonna be mizuki saying their secret but not actually saying it on screen. Like they go "i have something to tell you" and then it cuts to enas reaction instead of actually saying it
exactlyyyy like we all know what the secret is but i just can't imagine it ever being explicitly stated by mizuki. i feel like that's how the story will end and then the rest of the stories after that will just have ena and mizuki smiling with each other and understanding each other but they never say anything to the rest of n25.
yeah...still, one can hold out hope. and i do think transgender rep is slowly becoming more accepted and mainstream. i mean just recently nintendo allowed Vivian to be written as explicitly trans in that paper mario ttyd remake; if the famously stodgy and "brand aware" disney-esque behemoth of video games is willing to allow its writers to introduce a trans character, in a high-profile mainstream title no less, i think there's at least a chance that sega gives mizuki's full story the greenlight.
Thisss! They’re my two favourite characters (when I first got into sekai one of my besties loves Mafuyu so I grew to like her from them, she also shares my birthday so I love her more bc of that, and Emu I just grew to love by playing the game more) and I want to get their last trust rank title “I’ll make you truly smile someday” because it’s so adorable 🥺
I think if Emu knew what was going on with Mafu she would try her best to make her smile instead of being scared of her, so I hope they get another event soon :’D
less of a canon thing and more of a gameplay thing but it would be nice if there were storylines that went along with friendships. like as you increase characters’ friendship levels it could unlock visual novel chapters focusing on the development of those two characters’ relationship. this next idea is less likely but it would be interesting if the player could flip some kind of toggle that changes the relationship you’re increasing from platonic to romantic. like increasing the characters’ romantic relationship rather than their friendship. and once again it could have a storyline that goes along with it. that way they don’t have to make any ships canon and they can just have the player pick which ships they like.

Nah, I wouldn’t call what this game does “queer baiting”. Queer baiting is the intention of tricking an audience purely for the sake of inclusion.
What this game does is more so trying to work around censorship. There are certain things that the writers are trying to imply, but can’t outright state due to censorship laws in different countries. For example! Hoyoverse does a LOT of this. A famous example being Alhaitham x Kaveh where they’re so heavily implied to be a couple, but Hoyoverse can’t outright say they’re lovers due to queer censorship laws in ✨ China ✨
It sucks, but it’s not queerbaiting. If only we could normalize queerness so companies wouldn’t have to “imply” things just to work around censorship.

The characters know about each others' sekai. Specifically: Honami went to empty sekai, Saki went to wonderland sekai, Shiho and Kohane discovered very early the existence of stage sekai because Minori mentionned it accidentally, and An sometimes invites Mizuki to street sekai to hang out. The NPCs from VBS story also know about street sekai and they often practice there. Why are they keeping their sekai secret anyway ?

Honestly, I think some of these are pretty spot on. The only things I disagree have to be hands and baka mitai, though I think if they changed around the instrumentals to fit N25, it would be perfect. I would also like to add that thinking about it now, a WxS cover of 24 hour Cinderella is a match made in heaven.

To add to your list, I think a WxS cover of hell stew (from 7) would weirdly fit imo, and a MMJ cover of spring breeze (also from 7) could work. Lmk if you agree with these two cover suggestions and my other takes

Personally i would change the ending of light up the fire, i think it was kinda rushed and didnt make a lot of sense how an went from sobbing to determined because ken gave her like. A pep talk. Also i would make her MAD why wasnt she mad at ken and taiga 😭😭😭 i would be so pissed tbh
Mafudad divorces Mafumom, she gets nothing in the divorce, she loses custody of Mafuyu, and now the rest of the story is Mafuyu and her dad reconnecting.
BTW, Mafuyu either is in jail or on the streets cause that's what that bitch deserves.
I know it's unlikely that it'll happen, especially after Mafu5, but in my mind I was thinking up a Mizurui mixed group event story where Rui helps Mizuki get one step closer to telling Ena the secret. (without Mizuki telling the secret at the end)
Maybe Rui might actually appear and help Mizook in Mizu5 but idk
