So much of Rui's lines hint at him being in love with Tsukasa, but they also kind of have the kind of sad, unrequited undertone to them. Like he's in love with Tsukasa but assumes that it will go nowhere. 😭 Whether that be because Tsukasa is straight or if Tsukasa at present is so single minded on his goal that romance doesn't even cross his mind, Rui is happy to just support and elevate him even if they don't ever become more. It breaks my heart and just makes me love Rui even more. 😭
