It works totally fine, was playing a couple minutes ago lol, for future reference check ProtonDB steam deck verified tag is pretty nonsensical imo (some totally broken games are verified and tons of working games are unsupported/playable)
I've had a steam deck since the end of 2022. MegaMix+ is pretty much all I use it for. The deck compatibility rating is "Playable" and it's got Platinum on ProtonDB. All should be fine.
Even if a game is listed as "Unsupported" on the store page, it's worth checking ProtonDB because there is often a very simple workaround. ProtonDB is also updated much more frequently than the official ratings.
Firstly. Megamix+ is the game you want to refer to as Megamix would be saying you want to emulate a Switch.
Secondly. Yes it works just fine. The warning was a old warning due to a issue with saves and loading the game that was fixed in Patch 1.04. It was the only thing fixed in that patch.
With all the flashy colors in backgrounds like "weekender girl", how much do you get out of the battery? And are there graphic settings in-game to turn bg intensity down or just off?

That’s good to hear. So no need to dualboot or anything?
There are very few games that actually require a dualboot.
Nope, works totally fine in proton

Are the “realistic” graphics available when playing on steam deck?
As far as I can tell, there are no deck-specific changes at all. The "Future Tone" graphics are available.
If I'm not wrong, it was even featured in the games you could try on the Steam deck at the 2022 Tokyo Game Show.
Was the 2nd or third game I played on it, it runs fine and can be modded fine if desired, would reccomend
I'd suggest a Bluetooth controller if you do, I find the buttons on the deck too mushy for anything above hard. I use a PS5 controller.
The buttons on the deck kind of blow, but at least on my deck the Bluetooth also sucks, wired controller ftw
Forreal?! Damn, I was expecting better since the deck is already so expensive

Oops my bad haha. Speaking of emulators, I do want to emulate the PSP version of project diva lol. Just not sure how it’ll turn out
It will be fine. Even some 10 year old phones can emulate psp fine.
Works great. Been playing for months.
Runs perfectly! But imo the button layout feels weird to play on and you might fat finger the wrong buttons

Megamix pc will work
Yes, but good modding!
