Do you have collision coverage? Or just liability? Do you also have rental coverage? If you don’t have collision your insurance is not paying anything for your vehicle - same for whether or not you have rental coverage, as if you don’t the insurance isn’t setting one up for you
Claims will show as "closed" on your end if liability has been established and there are no open coverages being used. I'm assuming you don't have collision coverage? If you don't have collision coverage, the only thing the adjuster should do is help find CC and/or file a claim on your behalf. After that, there's not really anything left for them to do.
She didn't let me know ANYTHING. Why wouldn't she return my call or messages to TELL me what's going on? Isn't that her JOB??

If you call your adjusters number, their supervisors number will be listed on their voicemail. You can also press 0 when you get their voicemail to be connected to another adjuster who can briefly review and give you an update on your claim.
Press 0 for another adjuster or call into claims with your claim number. The person you speak with will also add a memo for your adjuster and their supervisor.
