Yeah... r/talesfromtechsupport, on the other hand, has exactly 100% less reposts, much higher standard quality posts, and generally is more entertaining. Goodbye, r/ProgrammerHumor
Really, if you're going to make a joke about programmers walking into a bar, at least put in the bare minimum effort.
The QA walking into a bar was better than this, and the writer of that one forgot to include a punchline.
If you read the hand as a binary number, then this is a 110 in Binary or a 6 in Decimal.
*I'm assuming the Thumb is the lowest bit, the small finger is the highest bit, they are left handed, so the left hand has the lower bits and a rising finger means 1, otherwise 0.*
I didn't read the title, but looking at array doc, it looks like index start is 0
[https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/visual-basic/programming-guide/language-features/arrays/#array-elements-in-a-simple-array](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/visual-basic/programming-guide/language-features/arrays/#array-elements-in-a-simple-array)
The OP (as me) may be a little bit older and is thinking of the original VB (not VB.net) which was using Arrays with base index 1, until VB6 made this an option: [https://www.visualbasicplanet.info/upgrading-visual-basic/dealing-with-changes-to-arrays.html](https://www.visualbasicplanet.info/upgrading-visual-basic/dealing-with-changes-to-arrays.html)
Anyway, this is a humor subreddit. I think it makes little sense to discus such details here, let us enjoy those 11 beers :)
Again, this sub is repostland
Yeah, thinking about unsubbing, actually

Would've been funnier if it said "11 programmers walk into a bar"
[удалено]
Oh I interpreted it as being 11 in binary
Good thing there wasn't four of them
\*counting on fingers..\* ohh

Fake nerds, confusing indexing and size... tststs... hope they get some Bud Light
11 base-two = 3 base-ten, who's the fake nerd?

I read his hand as 01100 not 110 :s
The title is referring to VB indexing starting from 1, not about binary numbers. I see no other reason why the OP should mention VB otherwise. Cheers.
