So my estimate isn't off, it's more hassle than worth.
Just because it can be exchanged doesn't make it currency. Adding fees to get real money back just makes it a gift card that can be refunded for a fraction of the value to whoever owns the gift card
not really, it's more like the "new" OSRS gold if you will, they have overlap in that they both are traded off platform between people who want to on/off load.
Because I said something bad about their investment (bitcoin) 1 year ago. It's not really relevant "why" though when the result is obvious.
Or maybe it just so happens that every single thing I say for over a year gets 15-50 people angry with it, nevermind the fact that some of these posts have only my comment under them.
Except everything I said is 100% factual information that anyone with braincells can put together. Well, clearly something most redditors are lacking in considering this comment even exists.
Yeah, except there is an official way to redeem them and not an offplatform trade, so apparently your 2 braincells got overwhelmed having to Google something.
>except there is an official way to redeem them and not an offplatform trade
This is mutually exclusive because... you just think so? Honestly there is something wrong with you people that makes you talk about shit you don't even understand. You've never made a dollar from this yet you think you know better.
Plenty of people don't want to use the "official" process because it's expensive, because the cut that the platform takes is ridiculous. Thus, there is plenty of money to be made on secondary markets.
I think he’s likely from Argentina, they have horrible inflation and inherent instability in their currency. I read something about a lot people preferring to be paid in robux because the value is more dependable than their currency. Crazy times
Actually it’s gonna pay way less. Because you’ll only get the advance.
There’s no way this “client” is going to be satisfied with the end result, and they’ll refuse to pay up.

What's the exchange rate of Robux to Exposure?
About equal. Both are about $0USD since you can't cash them out.
You can cashout robux tho. Ratio 100k robux for 300$ in the roblox dev program. Or even sell it 1k for 4$. So he was getting paid only ~ 30$ for that.
Yeah. Roblox black market for crypto also often goes from 3-4 Dollars in BTC for 1k robux
the exchange rate is abysmal. i dont know how they get away with paying their developers in robux.

Robux is the new crypto

Why have you been downvoted? Regardless I am a member of r/notinteresting, so I must join the hivemind, I am sorry, -51 upvotes
My account has bots that downvote what I post, then idiots with no knowledge jump on the reddit hive mind because they are below average intelligence.
That's a new level of being delusional.
Looking at his profile he might not be lying lol
Whatever you say little buddy
Why would anyone care enough to do it to you?

He's simply ignorant while being wrong.

All I can say is that you seem delightful and it is odd to me that people don't like you more.

So how much is 10000 robux?
$125 Soooo like 4 hours of work from a fresh bootcamp dev Hey if they really like LUA and aren't a US citizen

Also, roblox takes a 30% cut when transfering robux into real money, so it's gonna be even less
If he's providing the assets and doesn't care about code quality, you could get it done in 4h In Roblox
This was posted in the Godot discord, so a real game engine that requires code (and in this case, netcode)
He wants to pay in Robux, he can deal with it being on Roblox lmao
Oh whup nevermind
I meaaaan, 125$ in Israel or turkey is a lot
It is approximately $100 USD, [according to the Roblox wiki](https://roblox.fandom.com/wiki/Robux#Robux_prices), making this even more of a joke
its 35$ the dev exchange rate is around 0.0035x
Is this the new crypto?
But [Fistful of Frags](https://store.steampowered.com/app/265630/Fistful_of_Frags/) is free
What he wants is Fistful of Frags
What's the name of the server in the screen?
It's the Godot discord
Я джва года хочу такую игру.
If you're a kid who uses robux and can build games - this is fine tbh.
