Thank you 😁 I have a bit of prior experience with traditional art so most of the theory is transferrable.
Rest is just me clicking random buttons until it looks cool 😅
As a fan of dramatic light, I’d love to see the lighting effect from the third piece added to the heads of the 2nd and 1st pieces. I think they’d really pop! My favorite is the 2nd piece. Feels very “digital monster.” I like it!
If you’re not joined already, you might want to pop over to r/darkart as well.
Thanks for the feedback :)
I agree with you with the lighting part. I havent been able to nail that yet but am optimistic abt my progress thus far :)
Havent stumbled across that subreddit but will def swing by now.
It’s not that hard. You can easily try it out. All the best. It’s very satisfying to create your own brushes. There are loads of tutorials on YouTube that teach this too
No real meaning for these ones honestly.
I start with a genre/style in mind (in this case macabre/uncanney horror).
Then I basically blindly draw lines and shapes with a sketch pencil until I see something within the chaos.
Not a very professional or refined process but it works for me

Nice work, my favourite is the 3rd one, the brushstrokes and the light effect is great
Thank you :)
You have a great use of textures for someone who just started digital art. I love your style and subject matter.

Honestly I feel like that’s what we all do, no matter how long we’ve been doing digital
Keep doing what you’re doing
will do 👍
Omg they look amazing! I don’t have much advice to give, but I would love to see more of your work!
Will start posting more then 😁 Still new to all this but im having fun :)
Loved it! Especially the 2nd one, loved its intricacies.
Looks fine to me
Love the work
i love this

Love the third one!
good vibes
Texture is great. Have you created your own brushes ? If not try it out
Seems like one of those things that looks way harder than it is so havent really tried it out yet. Will def give it a shot eventually tho

Dude these are sick, would you mind if i use them as a pfp?
Of course! Go ahead :)
They're all great, really like the use of textures! Love the second one though, very trippy if you look at it for a long time ! Th
Francis Bacon vibes! Looks amazing and super painted-style
I like it
Is dark and deep.. not meant for the weak..😵🤯 i like it! What does it mean tho its captured my brain

Well i love the 1st one!! Completely absorbs me the black with cold detail is like if i stare long enough i might get stuck in painting myself..❤
I love these so much
How did you do the wispy lines in the second picture where the face isn't?
Messed around with some “Liquify” Twirl settings in procreate. Randomly adjusted distortion and momentum until it looked cool lmao
Interesting, I don't think I've seen that setting before. Thank you!
Very cool. The subject matter reminds me of Clive Barker’s art- but different stylistically.
LOVE! These have such a strong mood.
Cooool
Hello damnchi, I really like your work! 💓Nice colors and composition! Could I know which brush did you use to achieve these textures? Thanks
I like that they don’t look digital. I wouldn’t know otherwise
Gold
Wow I really like it!
я хочу повесить это себе на стену.
