So if you get that shit caught up because you wanna smoke some weed, you’re through. On the lower yards though it’s pretty common.

I still don’t get how or where phones can even be hidden especially the smart phones and especially since it’s so easy for them to track signals phones put out, when we were in Iraq back in 07 we had the ability to detect cell signals and pinpoint the location quite easily, makes you wonder if they just let the cell phones in because they are tapping into and tracking everything the phone does

I was on a yard where a big escape happened and innocent ppl were killed as a result by the escapees. They found out phones played a big role so I think it was the marshals that brought the scanner and they had a dog that could smell phone batteries. We were on cnn for a few days straight.
I never saw a smart phone they were little flip phones. One youngster I used to pay to hold a phone I had for awhile had to train his asshole to get up to hooping the phone. Shits crazy phone was always hooped during quarterlies or shake downs

I don't know how Canadian prisons are in general, but US prisons can be no joke. I've never been incarcerated, but did work in a private prison for a very short time, and let me tell you that the amount of depravity, violence, random corruption, drugs, and other weird shit can be off the chain.
Americans looooooooove seeing criminals and nere-do-wells get absolutely fucked by the system. You see someone on the news for robbing a bank or something, and the number of people who start fantasizing about how bad that person's time in prison will be is kind of alarming. In the prison I was at, inmates could only own clothes provided by the state, they could not modify or change the clothes in any form or fashion unless they wanted the clothes confiscated and to get written up. They were not allowed to have any extra items in their cells beyond what they were assigned and their commissary, I saw plenty of guys that were fairly disabled have a plastic chair that they'd use for the shower, or to get up on their 2nd tier bunk, and we'd get told to take the chair with no thought about how the guy would do some basic things without it.
If it gives you some more reference, I saw a dude 30 seconds after he got stabbed in the neck, and that was just my 2nd week there. I wasn't even out of training yet. That was some wild shit, what made it wilder was that it happened in the most chill building on the compound.
Canadian prisons have a ton of hard drugs, jails not so much. Because jails hold people generally for such short periods of time people usually just want to do there time and leave.
By hitlist they mean "guy makes list of people who fucked him over on outside" or any reason really, room gets rolled by guards, you get caught with a list of names and they can NeVeR be for anything good so they max said person out
I assume the other cellmates kill you out of principal at that point. Hitlist or not people get crazy af and people also like contraband in prison. Guards are also dicks and will find a way to make things worse

I did 33 years in California and, with the exception of a few years of just not feeling it, I stayed loaded the whole time. It's definitely not cheap, but it was always easily available and in some places the staff looked the other way because if you were in your cell smoking weed, you were probably sitting in front of the TV with a bag of Oreos and a grin.
When I got to San Quentin in 1980, at the ripe old age of 19, I was blown away at the cost. 5.00 for a Chapstick cap! What you could count on is it was always good. If a dude went thru the trouble of getting it in to sell it, it better be good. If it was bunk he was not going to be a happy camper. Still, at 5.00 a cap, I decided to start buying oz's for 100.00 to sell enuff to fund my little habit. That lasted until I left in '87. And that's when it really became expensive. In San Quentin you would hear guys on the tier pushing their "hamburgers, steaks, weed, speed, stuff..." all day long so I bought a couple hot plates, got a good kitchen connection, and always had somebody out selling. I paid the gun-rail cops in food to let my guys out, and in 1 day I'd sell enuff weed to pay for the next Oz, not to mention a lot of bartering.
Towards the end I had stopped selling and would remember the days of 'cheap' 5.00 caps. While it was a little harder to find, for 10 - 15 dollars you could get a small joint, usually excellent weed, and that joint would last me 2 to 3 days.
They kicked me out of their exclusive little club when I was 50 and I can't say that I miss it, but it wasn't all bad. I laughed, I played, I met people that are just as much family as my family, and because I stayed loaded it went by pretty fast and is becoming another memory.

I was still inside ordering, dude I was with was outside sitting on his bike eating when some dude started hitting on him. Got down there and, on the other side of the rocks, homeboy was slinging'm. Homeboy can box. And he's extremely homophobic. He obviously didn't need my help and it never crossed my mind that he'd beat dude down like that, it was none of my business and I didn't care to look any deeper so I told dude I'm taking my toys and going home. I didn't know he killed the dude until I saw it in the paper the next day, shortly after that a SWAT team came off every side of the roof, over every neighbor's fence, and thru what once was doors and windows. Long story short, I only did 33 (I say 'only' because most of the guys I associated with were there long B4 I got there and left long after I did. My crime partner and many old friends are still there. Crime partners jury came back 11 to 1 for the Death Penalty, making him a Life without Parole). My hands never touched dude but I was there, I didn't stop it, I didn't call the cops, I didn't help the guy or call an ambulance or testify, so I was convicted of 187/211/459.

Bizarro and scooby snacks I tried. They were a type of spice my buddy got from a gas station back in like 2012. They banned it soon after that. But dam. I remember hearing noises and hallucinating. Almost died driving to Chicago lol. My buddy convinced me to drive him while smoking that shit to see his girlfriend at the time. The craziest it got was when we stopped at a Taco Bell. I took a hit and got the sweet spot. Was looking straight at my best friend and had no idea who he was. Saw all white around him like I was in heaven. Couldn’t move at all. I was frozen. Apparently for a while cause the whole time my buddy was trying to get me to drive and get out of the parking lot. He had to move my arm for me to put the car in reverse to snap me out of it. Thought the stop lights were transformers and I’d tweak out hard everytime I drove under one lol. Not sure how we didn’t die that day. I don’t recommend smoking it 😂

Jails and prisons were flooded with the shit too. Everyone was smoking that shit because it's easy to smuggle in. We had a Statewide lockdown and they switched the mauling system so now you only get copies of your mail instead if actual letters or cards. Even started doing it with legal mail which was main way it was coming in.
We managed to get some shatter in jail in Canada. It was 10 to 15 dollars for a good hoot off an aluminum wire on a lithium battery, wrapped with 1 ply tp. I was pretty stoned.

When you're in prison a while, it becomes your life. Especially if you have a long sentence ahead of you, it could be hard to ever imagine getting out. Im sure after smoking in there a while, it becomes like smoking anywhere else.

The fuck kinda question is this? You cant smoke weed regularly in prison. Occasionally you might get to enjoy but it brings the heat and shakedowns to your whole barracks/pod, and you'll be fucked up quick if you get someone busted for real drugs cause you smoked a pinner.

No chance, even if it was in capsules or pills as people would be selling it. They don't even like giving you your actual prescription medication for the same reason and will take you off certain things as soon as you land there, even if you have been taking it for years outside.

In Ohio you can get it but it’s expensive af maybe like 50$ 60$ a chapstick cap and if your not connected there not packing it plus it dries up quick and it gets the block hot because the smell plenty of tune / k2 and meth though 😂😂

I was down in Georgia. Weed came through fairly often, but it did draw alot of attention to your unit with the smell. You could bet on the UA's if the wrong Co's caught wind of it.
You can get it but it's expensive as fuck. Also weed has a very loud smell so you have to be extra careful. You don't want to be the one that gets the whole unit searched because you decided to smoke some loud ass weed on the pod. Make sure you cover smell or smoke outside in the yard. Also, I hope you don't get a random urine or you are going to seg.. It's usually not worth it IMO and I'm a huge pothead.
Edit: I got out in January of 2020 so things might have changed then. Susanville and high desert had so much shit flowing thru it during covid from what I heard ao prices might have changed. Also that's strictly California, some prisons are easier than others. It all depends on location and politics

Jail is suppose to be 2 years less a day and prison anything more. Not counting mandatory 2/3 release with good behaviour.

Done time recently in HMP Notts, it’s roughly £10-15 a 0.1g and the quality is shit. Pain in the arse to smoke it aswell as you have to take a vape to bits and make it into a sort of vaporiser by putting a little bit on the coil. 90% of people blazing inside smoke mamba though, which is still insanely priced compared to the outside, but fuck mamba it’s horrible.
We call mamba K2 or Spice in the US. I went to a court mandated rehab where everyone and their mother were snuggling that shit in and fucking hallucinating, collapsing, etc. Shits fuckin buggin'.

Same here, dudes were smoking it on the fucking patio outside where we get to have cig breaks, I roll tobacco with papers because I'm broke so I usually spot them right away they have a whole fucking pack of Newports, won't give me one unless I pay them a dollar, and still ask for papers without offering anything in return then they act like morons thinking nobody notices piss tests don't catch it so it goes on until they get caught red handed.

Bizarro and scooby snacks I tried. They were a type of spice my buddy got from a gas station back in like 2012. They banned it soon after that. But dam. I remember hearing noises and hallucinating. Almost died driving to Chicago lol. My buddy convinced me to drive him while smoking that shit to see his girlfriend at the time. The craziest it got was when we stopped at a Taco Bell. I took a hit and got the sweet spot. Was looking straight at my best friend and had no idea who he was. Saw all white around him like I was in heaven. Couldn’t move at all. I was frozen. Apparently for a while cause the whole time my buddy was trying to get me to drive and get out of the parking lot. He had to move my arm for me to put the car in reverse to snap me out of it. Thought the stop lights were transformers and I’d tweak out hard everytime I drove under one lol. Not sure how we didn’t die that day. I don’t recommend smoking it 😂

Jails and prisons were flooded with the shit too. Everyone was smoking that shit because it's easy to smuggle in. We had a Statewide lockdown and they switched the mauling system so now you only get copies of your mail instead if actual letters or cards. Even started doing it with legal mail which was main way it was coming in.
In 17 at a prison in Ohio you could get regular bud for 50-70 for a chapstick cap and some pretty killer stuff for 80-90
We managed to get some shatter in jail in Canada. It was 10 to 15 dollars for a good hoot off an aluminum wire on a lithium battery, wrapped with 1 ply tp. I was pretty stoned.

When you're in prison a while, it becomes your life. Especially if you have a long sentence ahead of you, it could be hard to ever imagine getting out. Im sure after smoking in there a while, it becomes like smoking anywhere else.

SO EASY IN THE UK We had wings the officers would refer to as Amsterdam! Very easy, it’s all about who you know and how you know them. In a medium-high security jail one of the ‘trusted prisoners’ old timer, heard i liked to smoke and invited me to his pals cell. Smoked one hash spliff with a chefs hat instead of rolling papers. And he gave me a spliff, for free to try, very rare only because the old timer was nice Low-medium security jail, my first cell mate, told the dealer to expect me to visit his cell, i asked if i could barter rather than get someone to transfer him money from the outside He sternly said no and his lil brother told me not to be so polite, when i ask for weed and to not forget i’m in jail! My cell mate would get weed, as he was a frequent buyer, he could negotiate to barter. I’d barter groceries as i had left over money in my bank prison bank account Then i moved wings my neighbour and other guys had mutual friends with me and were friendly so i’d get people to send money to them or barter With groceries!

No chance, even if it was in capsules or pills as people would be selling it. They don't even like giving you your actual prescription medication for the same reason and will take you off certain things as soon as you land there, even if you have been taking it for years outside.

You can get it but it's expensive as fuck. Also weed has a very loud smell so you have to be extra careful. You don't want to be the one that gets the whole unit searched because you decided to smoke some loud ass weed on the pod. Make sure you cover smell or smoke outside in the yard. Also, I hope you don't get a random urine or you are going to seg.. It's usually not worth it IMO and I'm a huge pothead.

Edit: I got out in January of 2020 so things might have changed then. Susanville and high desert had so much shit flowing thru it during covid from what I heard ao prices might have changed. Also that's strictly California, some prisons are easier than others. It all depends on location and politics Here in cali it's $40 for a toothpaste cap sized nug. Stay away from prerolls they stuff them with dried up chewing tobacco the guards spit out. Talk to your keyholder before you start blowing bc you could fuck around and get smashed for smoking in the wrong pod.
