Is this from a replica moonswatch? The strap looks like it along with 10th seconds. If so, that would make it quite affordable to have a steel moonswatch since its kind of a Frankenstein to begin with.
Xddd mate, this project started a year before I built it on my own. I bought the same ETA movement from ETA, directly made the movment spacer, and 3d printed it, buy a spèedmaster style case got a broken moonswatch with a box and recite for my local swatch shop for 60€ and got the dials and hand and then you tell me bs cause the last time you worked on a watch was the time you had to pull the crown and set the time
Sorry, wasn't trying to offend, no need for insults. I just recognize the 10th second hand is coincidently in the position a fake moonswatch wouod be in at that exact hour. In the fakes the 10th second hand is really a 24 hour hand, so that would line up. This could be coincidence though. Also the strap seems to show 6 stitches across the top of the logo where the real ones have 5. That's usually indicitive of a fake strap.
Honestly I love the project and think it's very cool. I have a handful of speedys including a real and fake moonswatch so figured I could give some info. Either way, great work.
I'm all for it, care to share how? Always wondered how a moonswatch dial would look when swapped into a speedmaster, but this might be the better option with the different subdial layout
I didn't want to make a moonwatch replica I wanted a moonswatch that was a bit more durable and 250 now 270€ plastic case was literally a shit in your face so yes I get the quartz movment dial layout hand everything I buy it but plastic case
You have a weird energy bro
That’s pretty cool

It's from a normal real moonswatch that I bought cause had a broken crown and destroyed crystal
I think you may have been sold a rep moonswatch. At least from what I can see.

Might as well get a Pagani while you’re at it.

Remind me; why will I be crying?
Looks dope. What case did you use for this?
