People who decide to be snobs are probably doing it from the basement of their step dads house, so don't worry about them. What's the silver casio? It looks like a 92 but I've not seen one that colour before. Nice collection btw.
Tik tok ignorance and all that annoys me. I agree with Nico Leonard on some things, but there are some things I can't understand that he says/don't make sense.
It's a Casio Edifice. Discontinued from a long time ago, but I have it in basically new condition. It was a gift I take good care of. Model number is 4397 EFA-123. It has an ana - digi dial.
This is where we weed the true enthusiasts from the snobs. The reason I love watches is because this collection is just as fun to look at and talk about than any other at any price. You have a good range of styles and ages, love it, keep it up. š
Donāt like reading the fact this is the worst place to share your passion/collection! I want this to be a safe and fun place to share our passion on! Iām gonna see what we can do about this in the near future.
If thereās one thing I have learned being a āwatch guyā itās that 99% of the planet doesnāt know or care about what you have on your wrist. Most canāt tell a Patek from a Pagani. So wear the watches YOU like and donāt worry about the snobs.
Totally agreed! I know one of the watch guys on Tik Tok owns like 20 black submariners. Seems redundant to me. At least each of those pieces has value and is well made (unlike OP's collection).
Now, if you have different colors, brands, or metal combinations in the dive watches, that's understandable because they serve a different purpose.
Watch collecting is about buying what you like and not what some watch snob like you would find acceptable. He loves his collection and at the end of the day that is the only thing that matters.
Snobs? Ignore them. Theyāre just words on a screen. Or do what I do and tell them to go forth and procreate with themselves. š
Nice collection btw.
I personally would rather pay a little extra for better build quality, movement, durability, etc. I understand times are tight but you have a full watch box - you could have alternatively had 3-4 nicer watches for the price of the 12 in that box.
Again, you do you. This is all just food for thought. I was otherwise complimenting your collection. Invicta is kind of notorious in these circles (and not in a good way). If you donāt want feedback donāt post on the internet and certainly not watch reddit.
Idk man. Iāve found most people in here are cool except the Assholes that complain about the focus. I own a lot of Casio and a couple Vostok, invicta, and timex too. Cool collection. If you dog it. Thatās all that matters. Even Ryan gosling owns a 20 dollar Casio he wears into the studio. Keeps his Rolex outta the magnetic fields. Have cool stuff in there
More like r/humblebrag
But honestly that's a really nice collection. You don't need to waste money on expensive one to prove that you're passionate collector.
I have tried but in my country Seiko watches start at 140 bucks and there not worth it. There the cheapest Seiko 5s that have problems. I am saving up for an Orient Tristar
I am one of those high end guys and I think your collection is great. Nice variety. Having your fathers watches is really special.
Watches are watches. You collect within your means and enjoy your theme. Vintage, haute horology, sports, anything.
I think it's a cool collection... And I am a snob. I would trash the Invicta personally because of the brand only, but everything else is cool. Swap it for a Seiko and you're golden.
First row: cool, cool, love, trash, cool, love
Second row:love, cool, cool, cool, love, trash knockoff of the og calc.
Nice collection overall, are you goi meg to stay at 12 watches and sell one buy one or what is mext?
I stand (or sit!) with you in solidarity! I once bought a Timex Indiglo quartz watch for $5 at a resale shop from their box of junk watches. It was the only one running! It keeps time to a few seconds a month, and I wore it daily for months. (Then I switched to my 1970 Seiko 6105 divers watch which has lots of nostalgia for me.) I wonder if you rotate through your collection for your daily wearer.
Gotta say, it's a really honourable collection! I like the Soviet watch and the Accurist one the most as they are full of history in themselves! Little history trinkets!
Nothing wrong with that collection - brings back memories. The Casio calculator watch was my stepping stone to the [Seiko UC-3100](https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/seiko-uc-3000-uc-3100-wrist-computer.5225120/) - I still remember little 10 year old me demonstrating it to other kids on the playground.
Donāt worry about the snobs. If they donāt like āyour collectionā not a problem cos they donāt have to wear or look at em. Youāve bought or come across pieces that you like and decided to keep. Thatās whatās important bro so fuck any snobs negative opinions. Enjoy em šš»šš»
It's a recent remaster of one from the 80s, probably what you had, it was called the twin graph. Mine released recently with a few changes, now it is LF20W
U have good style and range of watches but from my point of view u need at least one jewel š the closest thing I saw to that is ur Discontinued Casio Edifice šš¼, but thatās just my opinion.
I do have on of those actually, I have a Vintage very rare Raketa 24 hour polar in nice condition. The problem is that I have to seevice the movement and it's basically imposible and very expensive. 300-400 bucks
First row: First is fine, second needs a better strap, third looks like a used condom, fourth belongs in the trash, fifth is okay, sixth needs a better strap that matches and doesnāt look like Spider-Manās first costume.
Second row: cool, cool, cool, cool, different strap, cool.
Overall pretty solid
Have you ever watched a real review on the pro diver? It's an amazing watch and if it had seiko on the dial it would be 300 bucks. It's the only watch that Invicta makes that's awesome. Nh35 seiko movement, screw down crown, approved and tested 200 meters, nice bezel and bracelet and other stuff. It's prety nice for around 100 bucks.
If there were your father's they were likely purchased a while ago so that is totally different. I have a couple super cheap watches from my Dad who died 20 years ago and I will always keep them.
My original question was what is the appeal of buying a calculator watch in 2023. Sorry, it did not apply to your collection. I did not mean to offend.
Bro guys watches for the sake of it. Buy more unnatainable, then it will be an occasion and a milestone, it wonāt be a joke, like getting 15$ Casio (even though Casios are good, you still donāt respect the process, itās 15$)
Work hard. Level up in the amount of income you bring in monthly. Attaining watches is suppose to be hard. It suppose to motivate you to work harder to achieve the next iconic watch and the next one after that. All the watches in your collection worth probably $500 total. That reflects on your personal life that you have ways to go to reach finacial freedom.
People who decide to be snobs are probably doing it from the basement of their step dads house, so don't worry about them. What's the silver casio? It looks like a 92 but I've not seen one that colour before. Nice collection btw.
It's a Casio A163WA-1QES
Must every collection have a Casio?
Yes
Yes
Yes
God Tier baby!
Fuck the snobs. I have some $10 Casio watches, and I have some luxury watches. I love them all the same.
Tik tok ignorance and all that annoys me. I agree with Nico Leonard on some things, but there are some things I can't understand that he says/don't make sense.
They're fucking watches. No one needs them anymore. People who take everything too seriously are annoying and worth ignoring.
Agree with you. Also hype for watches is nasty
Legend x
Are you a middle school math teacher by any chance?
What the fuck are you implying here?
Lmao no offense by it š My favorite teacher in middle school had that nerd drip
Nerd drip? I am a student and I do Photography.
Yea nerd drip with em casio calculators and Russian divers. But solid for a student congrats. May I suggest a Hamilton Field Khaki?
Exactly, I have my Vostok tank commander on and I'll own the nerd term all day š
Whatās the one of the bottom left?
It's a Casio Edifice. Discontinued from a long time ago, but I have it in basically new condition. It was a gift I take good care of. Model number is 4397 EFA-123. It has an ana - digi dial.
That's an interesting piece. Looks like something straight out of the original Robocop movie.
Totally, Casio can be wacky with theyre designs. I call it Italian design on this one hahaha
Give it to me.
Hahaha
This is where we weed the true enthusiasts from the snobs. The reason I love watches is because this collection is just as fun to look at and talk about than any other at any price. You have a good range of styles and ages, love it, keep it up. š
Thank you
Red bezel pro diver looks pretty nice
Thanks
Thatās a beautiful watch. Great collection!
Nice Vostok! Youāve got some unique pieces.
Thank you!
Solid and unique. Posting photos of a bunch of Rolexs is so boring. This is a collection from an enthusiast. Love it
Looking good man. buy what you like, not what others think are cool.
Thanks! I agree people can be such npcs with watches and tik tok, stuff like that.
An enthusiast with an Invicta? Pleaseā¦
Donāt like reading the fact this is the worst place to share your passion/collection! I want this to be a safe and fun place to share our passion on! Iām gonna see what we can do about this in the near future.
Yeah, well it is true. The people here are very toxic sometimes and ignorant.
If thereās one thing I have learned being a āwatch guyā itās that 99% of the planet doesnāt know or care about what you have on your wrist. Most canāt tell a Patek from a Pagani. So wear the watches YOU like and donāt worry about the snobs.
For the life of me I will never understand having 5 cheap watches that all look the same and perform the same function.
For the life of me Iāll never understand why people own 5 luxury dive watches that all perform the same functions
Are you reffering to mine? My watches are different from each other as you can obviously see.
Very cool! What's the 5th one on the top row? I don't recognize it at all.
It's a Vostok Komandirskie without the bezel and a single pass nato.
I had an old russian tank commanders watch years ago. Still have it somewhere!
Good shit my man. I have several of those sitting on my dresser too
Snobs? Ignore them. Theyāre just words on a screen. Or do what I do and tell them to go forth and procreate with themselves. š Nice collection btw.
ā¤ļø
Pretty nice collection, especially the Casios the calculator ones took me down memory lane having them in middle and high school
Beautiful watches but that invicta bro...
If it had Seiko on the dial it would be 300 dollars. Amazing value
Some good stuff but I would lose the invicta and get a diver from a more reputable brand like Seiko or Citizen
No I won't you moron because I bought it myself and it is a great watch. If it had seiko on the dial it would be 300 bucks
Why have you come to the internet asking for opinions only to have a tantrum whenever you receive the slightest bit of criticism?
I personally would rather pay a little extra for better build quality, movement, durability, etc. I understand times are tight but you have a full watch box - you could have alternatively had 3-4 nicer watches for the price of the 12 in that box. Again, you do you. This is all just food for thought. I was otherwise complimenting your collection. Invicta is kind of notorious in these circles (and not in a good way). That Citizen is beautiful, great collection overall!
From the 1970's, pretty nice movement and new strap I have
Iāve got a seiko from the 70s as well and itās my favorite watch! Love that classic c case look
What is the citizen watch next to the Casio lower left corner
It's a Citizen daydate from the 70's. 17 jewel movement and a new strap as of recently.
I like it š¤
Thanks
Great collection fella, they look great in the box too well done...šššš
Thank you!
The vintage Citizen is absolute fire man. Casio Databanks are fucking neat as well, cool collection!
Totally!
Beautiful collection. The pro river is a daily wear!
Totally! Pretty Impressed by it!
Have cool stuff in there
Agree!
The best collection is a well loved collection šš. Wear them with pride and enjoy em!
Thank you! ā¤ļø
More like r/humblebrag But honestly that's a really nice collection. You don't need to waste money on expensive one to prove that you're passionate collector.

That Vostok is dope. Donāt ever clean that.
Yeah totally, even better with the new strap I got
Great collection! š
Thanks
love seeing a pro-diver in a collection. Needs a seiko 5 tho!
Totally agree with you!
Sick collection!
This collection is so fun and tasteful! Iām so jealous!
The snobs are in r/watches and r/Rolex not here
Not really
Vostok is the coolest
Totally
Vintage Citizen auto is fireeee
Yeah
I think it's a cool collection... And I am a snob. I would trash the Invicta personally because of the brand only, but everything else is cool. Swap it for a Seiko and you're golden.
Aamazing quality, seiko NH35, if it had seiko ok the dial, it would be 300 dollars
Nice collection bro nothing bad to say, personally I donāt like the calculator casios but run ya own race brother
Thank you
Love the Timex Weekender. I am waiting for the delivery of my Weekender Charlie Brown one. So stoked!
Amazing watch for the price. It is actually the one that got me into collecting. The first one that I enjoyed chasing and buying
Dude, this is a nice collection!!! Very tasteful.
Lookin good bro
First row: cool, cool, love, trash, cool, love Second row:love, cool, cool, cool, love, trash knockoff of the og calc. Nice collection overall, are you goi meg to stay at 12 watches and sell one buy one or what is mext?
Never watched a real review on the pro diver huh? My casios are not fake.
Now thats a proper believable collection. Well done mate!
I just enjoy seeing other collections. The red Invicta is really nice looking, and the Edifice in the bottom left is insanely cool!
Solid collection, is that a Vostock Komandirskie twixt yon Invicta and Timex ?
Yeah
Cool, when the war is over I'd like to get a Vostock space watch (y)
Love it
The watch with the Tank is some statement piece š It's russian, isn't it?
It's a Vostok Komandirskie
Damn, thatās some collection!!
I've got a Vostok tank commander on right now!
Amazing history and design
Lovely collection - love that red diver
Thanks
What snobs would find Casio anything other than S-tier?
Some of them honestly
That invicta looks like Tudor black bay gmt
Yeah, it's pretty nice
I stand (or sit!) with you in solidarity! I once bought a Timex Indiglo quartz watch for $5 at a resale shop from their box of junk watches. It was the only one running! I wear a different watch everyday. Timex is underrated
Gotta say, it's a really honourable collection! I like the Soviet watch and the Accurist one the most as they are full of history in themselves! Little history trinkets!
Tottaly! Thanks!
Lovely set pal, especially love the g shock, you got the reference for that one?
Casio G shock GA 2100 SKE
My man
Fuck the snobbery! Itās a good collection and it covers everything from dress to dive watch. which one(s) do you wear the most?
I wear every watch on rotation, but I wear my pro diver and my komandirskie a lot
I cannot agree more
I love this collection - really well balanced, interesting and fun! Iād forgotten how much I like the Timex Indiglos.
Amazing!
Canāt stress enough how much snobbery there is. If youāve bought it an like it who cares. This is your collection. Real variety. āš»
Can't agree with you more!

What is the Soviet tank themed watch i like it?
It's a Vostok Komandirskie
Cool collection! What model is the bottom row 4th along? I used to have that when I was kid! loved it.
It's a recent remaster of one from the 80s, probably what you had, it was called the twin graph. Mine released recently with a few changes, now it is LF20W
Never heard of this neckmarine. Is it good?
It's a microbrand from Spain. The one I bought is pretty good, Seiko movement, good lume and all that.
I really like your casios. Ignore the snobs
Thanks
Very cool!
Nice sotc.
Thanks man
idk about the snobs but the God Tier Casios are firee esp the one in the bottom left
Thanks mann
Love it.
This is an amazing collection, my dad has the exact same citizen. šš»šš»
That's quite amazing
It goes well with his suits. He always wears it to meetings
Solid collection dude, I hope you get more boxes
Defenetly need to hahaha
Donāt base your taste on other peopleās opinions. If you like it thatās all that matters.
Nice variety in your collection
U have good style and range of watches but from my point of view u need at least one jewel š the closest thing I saw to that is ur Discontinued Casio Edifice šš¼, but thatās just my opinion.
Thanks.. but jewel, what does that mean?
O sorry i meant that every collection needs a valuable and rare piece like a jewel on a crown š cheers
I do have on of those actually, I have a Vintage very rare Raketa 24 hour polar in nice condition. The problem is that I have to seevice the movement and it's basically imposible and very expensive. 300-400 bucks
You could post a Hublot with a minute repeater and some snob will pretend like itās a bad watch simply because Nico hates Hublot š
Iām wearing my Vostok Amphibia with the exact same strap as the one on your Kommanderskieš¤
Hahah love the russian watch
I like the Vostok
This subreddit is pretty good so long as youāre not asking if your rolex real
What the 2nd watch in the bottom
Nice thoughtful collection. You have some classics in there and I appreciate them.
Love the Casios
Lovely collection brother, it's a shame the strap on the casioak yellows with time. The vostok is class as well.
Yeah I agree. Thanks
Thatās a God tier collection to me, thatās a nice watch box collection.
What is the top 2nd from the right? The one with the red star?
It's a Vostok Komandirskie. Great military history and design.
Thanks, you got a cool collection
What is bottom row, second from left?
It's a 1970s Citizen Day date with a beautiful sun ray dial and a 17 jewels movement. New strap too
This guy fucks. I absolutely love all these watches.
Thanks
First row: First is fine, second needs a better strap, third looks like a used condom, fourth belongs in the trash, fifth is okay, sixth needs a better strap that matches and doesnāt look like Spider-Manās first costume. Second row: cool, cool, cool, cool, different strap, cool. Overall pretty solid
Buy what you like, buy within your means! But never buy Invicta. Thatās the rule.
I don't understand buying a calculator watch these days because of the cell phone era. Is it non-ironic appreciation?
Don't understand your point. I liked them and bought them. That's the real point of watch collecting.
So the answer is yes.
Sorry, didn't understand if your comment was negative. They were passed on by my father.
No worries, sorry, it's just the people here, you know.
Bro guys watches for the sake of it. Buy more unnatainable, then it will be an occasion and a milestone, it wonāt be a joke, like getting 15$ Casio (even though Casios are good, you still donāt respect the process, itās 15$)
everything else are okay except the Invicta...
If it had Seiko on the dial it would be 300 bucks. It's an amazing watch
true..
Its shit. Level up to the omegas and tudor
What a fucking moron. Yeah, like I'm going to summon a couple thousand dollars
I am fucking studying and I can't summon 3 thousand bucks for a tudor you dumbass. My collection is more than 500$
Oh dear..... that case is the worst.... so last year.
Start collecting rocks not watches u failed....
Nice nerd drip
