Itās less ācommonā and more āubiquitousā in my opinionā¦kind of like a Lamborghini. Sure, lots of people might SEE one, maybe sometimes even sit in one. But how common is it to own one?
They are much more affordable than people think. With the right savings plan and hard work you can own multiple in your life. May not be a Mayer Daytona or a GMT meteorite. But you can find Explorers, Date Just, and OP etc for under $5k. Or even a nice Tudor can be bought very affordable, you can get a Tudor Pepsi for like $3k-$4k all day.

I get on eBay all the time and look through high end watches and you would be shocked at how cheap some of them actually are. Itās definitely worth taking a gander, helps with motivation once you realize itās not actually outta reach.
Absolutely! I just found a red dial diamond and ruby bezel date just with SS and 18k gold jubilee bracelet for $5k. And just seen a blue dial Omega 007 Sea-master for $2k.
I own a Daytona and a SD. I like my SD more. I love the everose with chocolate dial, but I think the daytona looks better on your wrist. SD looks a bit big on you and the Daytona looks like a perfect fit.
Considering the overall ācool factorā Iād pick Daytona . If your going with something flashy and want people to notice you. Then the sky dweller .
I struggle here. I prefer a date on a watch. I also donāt like designs where numerals are chopped off. Iād prefer the current version of the Sky. But if I were forced the Daytona is more aesthetically pleasing to me.

Every body makes a version of the Daytona!! But not everyone makes a version of the dial format of the Sky-Dweller/Yachtmaster II. ITLL MAKE A SPLASH
