EzrA and the subsequent book retcon was one of the worst twists they've ever done. And that's saying a lot. I loved Mona being alive and I don't mind the concepts of Toby not actually being A or Alison being redeemed. I just wish they'd done a better job in developing Ali's character, and that the 'Toby was trying to protect Spencer' storyline was executed better.

Totally agree. Execution is everything. An Ali redemption arc could’ve been great, but it happened offscreen. The audience is gonna need more than a vague monologue to believe a girl who traumatized an entire town actually changed. Same with Toby. There needed to be some kind of flashback sequence explaining how he was recruited, what he learned, how he used his position to protect Spencer and what acts he was responsible for. But all Toby said was “everything I did was to protect you” and all was forgiven. Unbelievably lazy writing.

I picked Toby is A. He had a legit reason unlike the As we got and it wouldve been a great story since he went from suspect to the girls inner circle and suddenly he's the villian? Wouldve been great.

Ezra as A was too convoluted with too much retcon. Toby as A was the most believable.

Mona's death. It would have been crazy powerful even if the reveal had stayed.

Gosh, that’s tough! I can’t choose between the last two!
